The hotel was being renovated during our stay, but I didn't find it impacted our stay for the most part. The only part that i find they should tell people is that with the restaurant being closed, the breakfast is no better than what many hotels offer for free and it cost us $23.00 + tx. Outside of that, the stay was great, the location was perfect and the staff were really nice. Will stay there again.

The stay was overall decent, but there were a couple of issues that affected the experience. The towels provided had visible stains, which was disappointing and raised concerns about cleanliness. Additionally, the refrigerator in the room made a noticeable grinding noise whenever the compressor turned on—likely due to it touching something improperly. The noise would stop if the fridge was slightly moved, but it was still inconvenient. Addressing these issues would definitely improve the overall guest experience.

It is a difficult review because the property is going through a major renovation of all the common areas which may make a big difference once completed. The main disappointment was that this was promoted as a 4 star hotel, which it clearly is not. However we got a very large king suite which allowed us much comfort and the ability to host friends and family during our week long stay. The kitchenette was adequate without some basics such as an oven pan or dish towels or full size coffee mugs. However requests were fulfilled by staff. Another interesting point is that the suites are in a different tower from the regular hotel so I can’t speak to the regular hotel. The suites however are a mix of hotel and privately owned. Sound insulation was not great between rooms and poor to the hallway, but we were okay in spite of some crying babies and a neighbour intent on hammering at 11pm. The hotel cannot act on noise complaints of the privately owned units. We did fine despite this though my parents in another unit were easily relocated. The onsite underground parking is very tight on level one but better below that. Overall I found the large suite excellent value for such a convenient downtown location.

Great experience!. Came to Montreal for surgery, stayed here for a week. Due to surgery, we had some extra requests than normal. Staff accomodated us with everything we asked for. They were truly wonderful. Room was bright and spacious, which was so helpful as had to move around with a walker after surgery. Yes the main floor lobby was under construction so front doors weren't available, but the temporary set up at the back doors worked out great. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Our room was assigned to condo side of the property. As soon as we walked we realized why the price was significantly lower compared all the other hotels around the area due to on going renovations. The condo side of property is really aged in need of repairs and the hallways are really dark not very clean. We decided not to stay as my family didn't feel safe so decided to check-out the same night we checked in. We will not be booking again.

We went for a Canadians game. The hotel is in a great location. The room was nice! I had emailed after booking and requested to be on the top floor with a good view, we were put on level 12 with a corner suite. The staff was nice. They were under renovations but everything was still really clean. Only thing I’d complain about was the breakfast buffet. It’s either full buffet for like $24 or nothing, If you just want something light there was no option unless you want to pay $24 for toast or fruit or yogurt, I don’t know if it was because the buffet was not in the restaurant due to the renovations or if it is always that way. We walked and found a cafe.

Currently, they are undergoing heavy renovation. The lobby has no furniture and is messy with construction supplies. Entrance from the back of the hotel. The room was renovated. I would say ok, beds are comfortable, the room is clean. The bathroom is clean but small. Nespresso machine with coffee cups provided. However, no soundproof door with a big gap at the bottom. You can hear everything so loud from the hallway like it's next to your bed. They have underground parking, but no suggestions for a pickup truck like the Ford F150 to go there, because the clearance is only 5.8 ". Outside parking is limited for first come first serve. Breakfast was overpriced and not worth it. All fruits were dry as they stayed there 2-3 days no touch. They supply eggs and ham and bacon, but for $20+ you can get a freshly made delicious breakfast at any breakfast place around.
