The room was very large and clean with a full kitchen, which was a surprise. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great with lots of options. It seemed more like an apartment building than a hotel. Great location too

From the moment we arrived at the hotel, everything was excellent. We were welcomed by a superb receptionist who took time to explain everything. Our room was huge with two super comfy, UK superking sized beds and a fully equipped kitchen - Fridge freezer, cooker, kettle, coffee maker, cups, plates, cutlery, kitchen roll.. Absolutely everything you could possibly need! There was a computer and a massive television, too. Breakfast, which I didn't realise was included, was great - all sorts of choices to suit most requirements - porridge, cereal, eggs, bacon, hash browns. Many people were taking theirs to their rooms to eat as space is at a premium at busy times, especially at the weekend. Bottled water and juice is available 24/7 from the fridge in the VIP room (aka the overflow breakfast room) on the 3rd floor along with a few "takeout bags" containing cookies (like Hobnobs in the UK), cereal bars and a small sweet. This was greatly appreciated for our day on the Hop on Hop Off Bus! There is a free laundry somewhere but we didn't need to find it. There are lots of pubs and restaurants close by and I would highly recommend the pub opposite, Sir John A, where we had delicious and very traditional Poutine while watching ice hockey on one of the many screens 😋

Excellent place to stay, great location. Close to byward market. The staff were very friendly and rooms very spacious. I would recommend this hotel. Great continental breakfast, the best I have ever had.

The hotel is well sited on a popular restaurant and pub zone along Elgin Street. It has quite a good Street life. It's also within walking distance of the main government offices. It's possible to do and see everything you need to without driving. To visit outlying districts will require a car and the hotel has ample parking available.
