The bathroom needed updating ..the bath tap was awful. We did not know about having to go to the other hotel for breakfast. No decaf tea or coffee readily available in the breakfast. Beds were a bit small.

Good place to be

We were only there a very short time, checked in late & out early due to hospital admission. The receptionist seemed friendly enough but she was the only member of staff we spoke to. The hotel is well situated for City & Port, plenty of car parking, although this seemed a bit expensive compared to other hotels in the area. Room was small & dated but clean and adequate - what you would expect from a budget hotel, it was quite cold in the room the night we stayed, it was also very cold out. No directional control on shower so you either had to have it full in your face or take it out of the holder to use. Probably if I was in the same situation, I would pay a few extra pounds & stay at Premier Inn.

Room was very clean but tap and toilet roll holder in bathroom loose. Staff very friendly and helpful

It was ‘OK’. The room was ok but there was not any hand towels. The shower pressure was not great and curtains were very stained. That said bed was comfortable and has an ok sleep. Note that breakfast is no longer held here. You are made to walk over outside to the neighbour Novotel hotel which wasn’t great in the rain. Lift was dated with you feeling a little uneasy. The display inside doesn’t work and is quite slow. The card reader needed to access the lift has a ‘nack’ to it to work. Overall it was OK. But personally I think I will pay a little extra next time for a little more standard of hotel next time to be honest.

Bed was lumpy and only had 3 hours sleep .2 sugars,2 milk.poor compare to travelodge.Had to go next door to Novotel hotel for breakfast.not good.

Great stay

Room was very small. We liked the windows and how they kept out noise from the road. There were unfortunately lots of noises from inside.

Reception areas is very nice however rooms are in need of redecoration. We had brown and light blue wood chip on one wall and the bathroom taps very tarnished. Shower curtain also which is one of my pet hates. Nice staff and nice bar area and reception. Money has been spent there but not on the hotel rooms

Rooms are bit wore down and not spotless as you would expect but the bed is comfortable. Room was also surprisingly quiet as requested which deserves a good score. Staff very accommodating accommodating

Great welcome, safe and clean area, clean room with nice amenities (tea coffee).

Nice yet affordable hotel convenient to cruise terminals (by taxi). Calm atmosphere even on a Saturday night. Friendly and helpful staff.

Very large patch of black mould on the ceiling in the wardrobe.

Clean room, friendly staff, decent size tub, electric kettle, good breakfast in the morning.
