Second time staying at this hotel. It is extremely hot in the room. Thermostat does not work. For one night I can do it because of the convenience. Multiple days I would use a hotel with more amenities.

Room was clean but very out dated holes in the curtains caulking around bathroom was missing and dark

When we entered our room it was so HOT! The sun was coming straight into the room and the windows could only open a small portion. We had to prop open our door into the public hallway for the majority of the evening. The room temperatures didn’t fall below 76 degrees until after 11pm. The hotel rooms didn’t have air conditioning. One of the staff told me the rooms on the front side of the hotel get very hot and the other side stays cool. Something the hotel could do is at least the windows could open more and the house keeping could close the drapes so the sun didn’t heat up the room like an oven. We would have checked into another hotel but everything was booked during the boat show.

Very bad indoor air

We loved our brief stay in this hotel. Nothing to complain about with our twin room. Very clean. The staff were lovely and very helpful and we enjoyed a couple of cocktails, in the bar. The breakfast was adequate, so all in all, we would definitely stay there again. It took a bit of working out on how to get to the Hotel from the train station, by foot. We didn't attempt to walk to Southampton docks, so we ordered a taxi and were impressed that ordering a taxi was very simple and efficient,

Good location, friendly staff, clean. Rooms very small, no A/c. Still pretty good.

Served the purpose for an overnight stay before our cruise. Unfortunately it's not an easy walk to the cruiseport as it appears on a map. Short on good dining options in the area.

Excellent

Very basic rooms that have seen a lot better days. The carpets were threadbare and itchy, the to had a mahogany wood surround that stuck out at a wrong angle. The harbour view rooms are not harbour view at all - more like facing the harbour direction. The wood chip walls were dirty. The shower was basic with very little water pressure. Okay stay if you are not in the room very much.

All staff provided excellent customer care with a very friendly open and approachable manner We were early for check in so decided to wait in the reception area which is smart bright and vibrant, coffee and croissant were fabulous. On the downside our room was very tired and dated but clean, with very clean white bedding, for this I can forget the dated room.

Friendly and helpful staff, convenient location, twenty-five minute walk to Princess cruise terminal. Lovely complementary breakfast.
