Breakfast was great!

The breakfast served healthy and delicious options and the coffee was good. Staff was warm, friendly, and helpful. I will stay here again and give it a high recommendation.

The Alda Hotel makes for an idyllic base In Reykjavík with its central location and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Breakfast has that aesthetic European flavor profile, but also the traditional American foods. The restaurant’s food was equally delicious. And check out the happy hour; the bar tender makes photographical cocktails!

This hotel met all our needs and beyond! The cleanliness was superb and the service outstanding. The rooms and the entire hotel were beautiful. The included breakfast every morning is an absolute must and have an assortment of food for everyone’s taste and the service was outstanding. The location of the hotel is in the heart of Reykjavik and close to all attractions and most important of all, close to the #9 bus stop at Snorrabraut where all your excursions go out from. We utilized the gym and hot tub as well and it met our needs. The hot tub is a little small and outside. The restaurant attached to the hotel had great food and great service. I highly recommend Alda Hotel!

Has a great location and lots of shops around it. Close to the bus station. We arrived very early but since the room was available, they checked us in a couple of hours before the regular check in time, which was great.

Great selection at breakfast. We also ate in the hotel restaurant on three occasions - high quality food, excellent taste. Staff very professional, friendly and helpful.

Close to everything we wanted to see.

Clean room, great location

Breakfast menu was great, nice offer of fruit, could have done with more blueberries as these were only sprinkled in the melon. Nuts and flax seeds, coconut and chia seeds would be a nice addition. Rolls were lovely

Very clean and convenient location.

Lovely boutique hotel. Clean, efficient, friendly staff. Quiet street, plenty of restaurants, bakery, supermarket next to hotel (recommend Harrys restaurant). Short walk to bus stop 9 or 12.

Best place we’ve stayed in Iceland. The staff are unbelievably friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. The hot tub is great too! 10/10 will stay here again
