Really good counter staff, able to store luggage before check in, very good & impressive breakfast items, coffee to takeaway, beautiful rooms facing the harbor, excellent location to airport Flybus stops (3min walk to Ego restaurant), central of town. Best place to stay!

A really pleasant stay. Pick a room with harbour view - it’s well worth the extra. Fabulous central location - easy walking access to everywhere in town. Staff were excellent, food was great and reasonably priced (for Norway!) - breakfast was buffet style, huge choice of excellent food and a lovely environment. All in all, a brilliant stay. Thank you.

Great stay ideal location next to bus terminal, breakfast included was a bonus, hotel was having some renovations so the sky bar was closed, room was ok not much storage space and no bedside table, great shower and good views of the fjord

Lovely hotel , perfect location in the harbour area for all the trips available . We had a great room with fantastic views of the fjord and surrounding mountains. The highlight was definitely the breakfasts , with so much choice , my recommendation is definitely go earlier , as the later you are the busier it is , especially with only one cappuccino machine . The staff were also a credit , being very welcoming and friendly . Would highly recommend staying here if you visit Tromso .

Check in was easy, quick and friendly. Breakfast was fantastic, a huge selection on offer. Room was spacious and clean. The provided Rituals hand wash / shampoo etc smelt devine. My 2 issues were- there was no price list for the mini bar and check out took ages. I went down 40 minutes before check out time. The queue grew to about 10 people long. It was 1 member of staff. I'm unsure if his computer system wasn't working properly or if there was some other hold up but he made no attempt to get any help or back up or look up to apologise. Another member of staff did come to serve after 15 minutes, and then when it was eventually my turn (another 10minutes) and he asked how my stay was I said great apart from this part, he could not have cared less.

The hotel was ideally located on the harbour and near to food, shops and tour guides. The additional cost paid for a harbour view was worth the extra. Stunning outlook on to the mountains over the water.
The breakfast was plentiful amd varied. Extending breakfast to a 10 am finishing time would be a useful change for Clarion to make given the numbers of people queuing for food each day.
The room was spacious and comfortable. Daily room clean was minimal in standard but adequate. However, on leaving the property I checked under the bed for left items and discovered incredobly thick dust all across the top of the floor. It would be useful if cleaners occasionally moved the beds and gave the floor a thorough clean.
Bar area pleasant but prices were very steep. Reception staff were pleasant and accommodating.

Amazing stay! The view was GORGEOUS from our Junior Suite. Wow! It comfortable fit the three of us (2 adults + 1 teenager) ... The breakfast was fantastic and a delicious spread. Walkable location -- we were able to maximize our two days in Tromso, the most beautiful city. Our hearts are with Norway. Thanks for a fantastic stay! We hope to visit again in the future.

Absolutely lovely hotel ,great location for central tromso, fjord cruise departures, bus station.
Really friendly & helpful staff throughout the hotel, nothing was too much trouble.
Amazing, well supplied breakfast buffet.
