George Bush Intercontinental is the international airport that serves the Greater Houston metropolitan area. It is around 37 kilometres away from Downtown Houston. Previously the airport was called Houston Intercontinental, but it was later changed to George Bush Intercontinental after the 41st President of the United States. The airport serves domestic and international flights. Some of the airlines that operate here are Air Canada, Qatar Airways and many more. There are also cargo flights that operate here. The top destination would be Los Angeles.
2. William P. Hobby Airport (HOU)
William P. Hobby Airport is located 11 kilometres away from downtown Houston. It is older of the two airports in Houston. It was opened in 1969. It operates domestic and international flights for four airlines and also to Mexico. The four airlines that operate here are American Eagle, Delta Air Lines, JetBlue Airways and Southwest Airlines.

Some of the attractions are Museum of Fine Arts, Houston the Houston Museum of Natural Science and the Children's Museum of Houston. Most of the museums are within walking distance of each other.
3. Buffalo Bayou Park – Buffalo Bayou Park is a 160-acre park in the city. The lake in the middle of the field is the main attraction in this park. In this park, there are walking and biking trails beside dog park, sculptures and many shady trees. Visitors also have the chance to rent a kayak or paddleboard and paddle in the lake. There are also guided cycling tours offered there. It is a place that can be enjoyed by the whole family while doing a variety of activities.
