When requesting a flight refund through Traveloka, the method you receive your money back depends on how you originally paid and the airline’s policy. Below are the available refund methods and how each one works:
This is the most common refund method. If you paid for your ticket using a bank transfer, credit card, or PayLater, the refunded amount will be returned to the same account or card used during booking.
For PayLater, the balance will only appear in your account after the refund process is fully completed or after you have made your installment payment.
In some specific cases, especially when changes are made by the airline, your refund may be issued as a travel voucher instead of cash. This voucher can be used to book a new flight with the same airline within a certain period, as outlined in the airline’s policy.
If you paid using Traveloka Points, your refund will be credited back as points to your Traveloka account. These points can be reused for future bookings in Traveloka.
If you’re unsure which method applies to your refund request, don’t worry—Traveloka will automatically determine the correct refund method based on your original payment and the airline’s policy.
