Staff were all without exception super friendly and helpful, very very good. My airconditioner heatpump in room 450 was not responding to instructions very frustrating. My daughter's toilet in room 452 was broken/blocked, moved to room 453 and the telephone didn't work. All the rooms are always clean, tidy no problems but they could do with a bit more Quality Assurance for the stuff they provide. Simple is fine, that's what we pay for, but its got to be working....

We needed an economical placed in CBD close to Southern Cross and this was well placed. We knew it wasn’t going to be great. It was clean. The bed was horribly uncomfortable and it was noisy with late night guests coming in a party mood and making lots of noise. but we only stayed 2 nights. Wouldn’t have wanted to stay longer. Felt a bit like a jail cell in a jail block but it was ok for a very short stay.

The room was quite hot and stuffy overnight, despite having the cooling on. It made it difficult to sleep. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom, which added to the heat. The female toilets in the restaurant were very basic and hadn't been swept properly or walls cleaned for some time. I rate it as "ok" overall as the location was central to where we wanted to go. I doubt I would stay there again.

Another comfortable stay whilst in the CBD for a heavy week of study. Thomas on front desk accomodated an after the fact two extra night add on, meaning I didn't need to change rooms which was greatly appreciated. Slight concern with water pressure one morning, but it was a bigger issue than one room (it happens) which was outside the staff's control. Meal options are good value for those time poor or not wanting to head outside the property. Frequent user and will continue to do.

The shower in my room made a horrible screeching and thumping noise from both hot and cold taps which made having a shower very unpleasant. Then at midnight I had to listen to the room next door using their shower that was also screeching and thumping. The plumbing needs to be fixed.
