It was in a great location not far from southern cross station we checked in late which wasn’t a problem the room was clean and had all the amenities you needed and they offered a cheap breakfast as well

The room was clean and well presented, and the in-room amenities were reasonable and maintained to a good standard. The bed was comfortable and the overall condition of the room was satisfactory. Unfortunately, the lack of sound insulation significantly impacted my stay. Noise travelled very easily throughout the building. I could clearly hear conversations and activity in the corridor, sounds from adjacent rooms, and traffic noise from outside. The biggest issue, however, was the air conditioning unit. It was quite loud during operation, and each time it started a new cycle during the night, it woke me up. This happened multiple times, resulting in a disrupted night’s sleep. While the room itself was clean and functional, the noise levels made it difficult to rest comfortably. Improved soundproofing and quieter air conditioning would greatly enhance the guest experience.

There wasn’t a remote control for the aircon/heater and the room was very cold. I rang reception, they told me to use the remote control that I had told them I had already searched for, and wasn’t there. Eventually they came to the room with a generic remote and spent 15mins trying to make the heater work…at midnight.
