Sink tap was broken, toilet didn’t work, shower basin was filthy, carpet was all stained

Staff were great - the hallway carpets were filthy and the room was a disappointment

No .bathroom had no hairdryer or power points to use where there was a mirror no other mirror in the whole room and bathroom was not clean shower curtain had mild on it and shower walls and floor needs a good scrub

Couch stained, room smelly, lighting was bad horrible

Bedside lights not working overall appearance of outside and inside was very poor and not inviting. Fridge was not in cupboard alongside bed that kept me awake at night.

Overall OK, rooms just abit dated could have some simple upgrades to become more aesthetically pleasing but it was a comfortable and great stay

I understand this is a low end option, but the place is awful. The quality of the room is beneath basic expectations. The room felt like it had not seen any basic maintenance in years, you pass wheeliebins in the corridor when trying to get to your room, the bed linen is clean but worn and clearly old, there are two mugs but no glasses in the room. Its a depressing place to return to, I am surprised ibis put their name to it. I booked based on location and convenience for a work trip, during the week of the Australian open so few options. The pictures show a basic hotel but don't prepare you for the low quality. I bought as a package with flights, but i didn't get the feeling it was cheap, i regularly visit Melbourne on business and this did not come across as a cheap option. Was relieved to check out.

I guess you get what you pay for. The amenities were clean but it was basic. It WAS the budget IBIS. In saying that, I had what I needed - carpet could have been cleaner.

Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Room adequate. Great position in the city for tram access

The room needs to be updates. The fridge was super noisy, there was mould on the ceiling and rotten walls. The breakfast could be better.

Courteous, helpful staff. Clean room. Excellent location. Very good facilities for the price.

The hotel has worn carpet throughout. My wife was too embarrassed to invite friends in. Our unit was compact. The bedside lights didn't work. The air con did work. We wont be back.

Room was run down and dirty. Would not recommend
