Great location within walking distance to the village and gardens. Friendly staff. Big, clean room and a little patio. Paid for extras silk rose petals, bottle of wine and cheese platter on arrival just beautiful. Ordered a picnic lunch, came with a picnic blanket as well, so filling! Comfortable bed and parking right out the front of the ground floor room, a bonus. Dined at the restaurant beautiful meal, I had the duck, husband the barramundi, only had the main meal and a drink and we were full. Buffet breakfast has a great selection. Will definitely be staying here again.

I’d hardly describe the room as being “superior”. It was pretty basic/standard to be honest. Disappointing to discover the spa was out of action. I was particularly looking forward to using it during my stay. Would have been nice to know this upon booking. A nice place to stay but at $240 a night it wasn’t worth anywhere near that price.

Nothing, got there 1-15 , room not ready , that’s fine , rubbish in room , not soap in shower , dirty face washer , i stay in Melbourne Mercure it was a much better hotel

Stayed for 4 days after saving up for a much needed work break. First day room never got cleaned so no dry towels. Went to reception and asked that evening twice and the next morning but never supplied dry towels for a shower. The next day they cleaned room and then took a whole bag of groceries worth over $50. Asked at reception said would check and call me. Never did. 3 more times of asking and denied taking. No apologies, no offer of compensation. I finally asked for a free breakfast at least that was finally agreed to. Then at breakfast on last day tried to charge me for it. The manager's attitude was quite dismissive and never once offered any appologies.

I liked that it was close to wineries and restaurants, also the peace and quiet surroundings. I was expecting it to be cleaner. Shower heads and tub was a little rusty. Sofa had old dirt marks. For a relax weekend, getting out of the city was good.
