It was amazing with sun shining in the window in the morning.
Excellent room 1006 the only problem we had was getting into the bath to have a shower it’s a problem when you get old

The terrace is an older style hotel but is neat and tidy it has been updated so quite pleasant. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Rooms are clean and bedding fresh and clean. Breakfast is fairly standard but had everything for a good start to the day.

The staff at Terrace were so friendly and accommodating. Really kind and made sure our stay was comfortable. The breakfast hospitality team were especially lovely and ensured we had comfortable seating and everything we needed. Thank you :)

Friendly staff, swift check in. Conveniently located near tram and bus. Local eateries were handy. Comfortable bed, extra pillow requests happily accommodated. Lovely ‘Gather Round’ mini hamper provided which was thoughtful. Enjoyed and appreciated the ‘Thank You’ toiletries - supporting a great cause and environmentally friendly.

Overall an enjoyable stay.
Did have an issue with the lack of housekeeping. Our room was not attended to once even after leaving the sign on the door to request to freshen room up. After arriving back to our room on the 3rd night and discovering it still had not been touched I spoke with the gentleman on reception and he was wonderful and very apologetic. He went above and beyond and even offered my son & I a free buffet breakfast for the following morning to help make amends. He also personally gave us fresh towels & coffee sachets for the next morning to tide us over.
The only other issue I found was the morning we left to go home we asked the reception if they could call a taxi to take us to the airport. After waiting out the front of the hotel for about 10 minutes eventually our ride arrived. Surprisingly it wasn’t a taxi but a limo cab. As it was early on a Sunday morning with no peak hour traffic and a much quicker journey we assumed our fare would not cost anywhere near what it was when we arrived by taxi to the hotel from the airport being a late Wednesday arvo and a much longer drive.
I was taken aback when we were charged $52.75 in comparison to $37.56 by the standard taxi cab.
I requested a taxi not a Limo cab and I was pretty peeved that my request wasn’t adhered to and found myself out of pocket financially.

Very disappointed with the price gouging policies of all hotels in Adelaide, made a very average hotel more expensive than the normal 5 star hotel rates... people tell me that's supply and demand, but I never paid $30 for a coffee while there!

Unfortunately the cleaning left a lot to desired.
We put our sign out for our room to be done 3 times in the 13 days we stayed Every time we had to go to reception to tell them it had not been cleaned.
On arrival our room did not appear to have been thouroughly cleaned. We also had a blocked basin which I cannot believe the cleaners did not advise maintenance. Bathroom had broken fixtures.
Otherwise our room was spacious with a beautiful view.

Great location with views of the hills. Hotel lift was grubby when we arrived- dirty floor wasn’t cleaned for a whole day. Room smelled a bit of old smoke. The room door had scuffs and marks like someone had tried to break in. One lift out of order for several days. No sign of it being fixed.

The location is great and the price reasonable. Onsite parking was a plus. Staff were mostly helpful and easy to deal with. Food options limited to breakfast that had almost no vegan options. Main concern was the poor level of cleanliness. The bathroom in the room was not cleaned properly and I found a sock under my bed when we arrived so vacuuming hit and miss like all of the cleaning. However, the location is very convenient.
