Dayrell Hotel e Centro de Convenções

I was staying at a hostel that didn’t have AC. I noticed this hotel as I was walking past it. I asked if they had rooms available and was told yes and the rates. I looked on hotels.com and found it for a bit cheaper than if I had booked in person. Room was huge and clean. Breakfast was good as well.

I traveled from America to visit my girlfriend in Brazil and every time we came back to the hotel, she was immediately stopped at the the elevator and treated as if she had some type of disease. She was told that I wasn't allowed to have visitors in my room which is weird because I am a 54 year old man and a paying customer. I checked out of my room early the next day . 4 days remaining on my stay and I was never offered my money back or any type of reimbursement. Very shady experience. I've traveled many places but never have been told I couldn't have visitors in my room. And they kept my money !! Don't come to this place!! They treat you as if you're in a concentration camp !

Dayrell Hotel is an older property located near Santuário São José church in the center of Belo Horizonte. It is well kept and well managed. We enjoyed our stay and found the staff very nice and helpful. We enjoyed walking and exploring the area around the hotel during the day time. Good value for money!

The check is slow takes long to complete , the system seems to be out of date. The bathroom faucet, pipes are too old , the water doesn’t flow well . The bide cover is damaged . The internet signal is very poor .

Rooms are very spacious and clean, a little outdated but overall a nice place.

The staff cannot speak English. And I didn't receive our receipts. I order 2 rooms for 3 persons. But I just received ONE room receipt. I need another room receipt for my claims.

Not too good. I had to change apt after 2nd day duo to bathroom problem.

I made reservation about a week prior my arrival. Check in time was 2:00pm. I arrived at 3:15, and they didn’t have a room available. I waited til 4:10. Then I asked Elizangela, who works at front desk for a late check on the next day. She gave permission, and worked at perfect. The included breakfast was not very good. Fruits looked old and not fresh. The hotel was located in a great area.

the rooms were big but very outdated, air conditioner was very loud , made a lot of noise. Staff was very friendly and helpful .

Hotel muito bem localizado, um pouco antigo, mas reformado. O único ponto negativo é que a cama estava um tanto gasta e não era muito confortável, podia sentir as molas.
