What a great find!
The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. They are gone for the day pretty early, but you have easy access to the hotel via a pin pad on the door. They would serve us a delicious daily breakfast of fresh croissants, jelly/honey, fruit, yogurt, and granola that we ate overlooking a pretty back yard.
The rooms are small but clean and modern and the large smart TV allowed us to stream our own shows/movies during our downtime. The self-serve wine dispenser is a great addition for evening night-caps. The soap/shampoo/conditioner is the best smelling we've ever used and bought 2 to bring home. The parking lot is a convenient, short walk away.
The location is perfect for the Old City, close to all the shops and restaurants you could want within walking distance.
We absolutely recommend, and would definitely stay there again!

Absolutely fantastic stay! The staff were lovely and helpful from start to finish. The breakfast was delicious and we really loved the selection of coffee. Room was spotless and beautiful. I found the location convenient and close to all the must sees in Quebec City. Thank you again for such a great stay.

Honestly, the loveliest little hotel—more along the lines of a bed & breakfast! The entire place was spotless, the staff was beyond friendly and attentive, there were amazing little extras that many places wouldn’t have even thought of, and the location was perfect!

The rooms are quite nice and staff very helpful. Unfortunately, the main heating was malfunctioning or had not been started (was told both) for the 3 first days of my stay. Reception, hallways and room was very cold even with a wall unit and electric heater they provided. On third day, I had no hot water on the third floor. The manager was nice enough to send me to a neighborring hotel. I understand this is an old building but you would expect it to be functional or otherwise be told about the malfunction and offered to stay knowing this or offered a reimbursement.

Beautiful old hotel, room was clean and well appointed. Breakfast was perfect to start the day but the real star was Marie Eve, a real treasure, great to deal with, always friendly and willing to help. Our room was on the top floor so very quiet and the bed was very comfortable.

My husband and I just had a lovely stay a Hotel Cap Diamant. This is a quaint old style hotel. Makes you feel like you’re in Europe. The room as comfortable, the staff was very kind and helpful (Marie-Eve is such a sweetheart!), and it was conveniently located in Old Quebec. It was nice to have a healthy morning bite to eat. The many choices of beverage options was great. If stairs are a concern than this is not the choice for you. Otherwise we highly recommend this hotel.

We had a great experience at Cap Diamant. The location was perfect, we could walk everywhere. We went to Quebec to visit the Christmas Market… so close to great restaurants, and shopping. There is convenient parking for $30 per day. The warm croissants at breakfast were so good. Staff was helpful and friendly. Highly recommend ❤️
