I loved the room so much. Small, yes, but that is always expected with non-chain hotels; some quirks, but no deal-breakers. Huge, soft towels, though, and PLENTY of pillows, which alone puts this place head and shoulders above most in this price range. Right near the Tube and bus stops. A really good price. And even though it was over a bar, there were not any noise issues. Unfortunately, I had some issues with the "staff"— the hotel is over a bar, and those we deal with are charged with running the bar, and the hotel is secondary. Almost all of them were really lovely, but they had one person assigned to the hotel who behaved more like a bouncer than a hospitality worker; not a word one would use on this fellow. He was belittling and a bit of a bully. It's crazy how one mean person can affect your stay. I really thought this hotel was wonderful, but that one guy would have me look elsewhere if I was to go back to London anytime soon. He's clearly in the wrong job so maybe he won't be there for long. Again, he was only one person. Everyone else on the staff I encountered really did their best to present a friendly face. Maybe it's having to do double-duty—the bar and the hotel— that means you sometimes get someone better at one thing than the other.

Staff were amazing, room was very comfy and very clean. A few maintenance issues let it down though, stained ceilings, gunk on the shower, that kind of thing. Overall very good though. Great pizzas

Only drawback for me was how small my room was. Other than that, it was fine. Above a bar/rest but you would never know it. No lift so heavy bags are tough to get up small stairs.

The rooms are incredibly small — the bed took up the whole space, we couldn’t even lay out suitcases on the floor (we had to lay them on top of the bed to open them). The toilet is directly under the sink, so in order to use the sink you have to bend awkwardly or sit on top of the toilet. There is no reception, the only person to help is the barista in the bar below. The rooms were clean, but that was the only nice thing about it. This hotel is ideal for people only staying one night, but if you are here on vacation or prolonged stay, it was so much more worth it to stay at an actual hotel.

I got this room for a quick overnight for the Abba experience. It was small but really clean and comfortable. Lots of little amenities. Bathroom was kind of small but the shower was huge. I wasn't there for very long but I really enjoyed it, great value for the money. Being over the bar didn't seem too loud either. I didn't eat there.

DO NOT STAY HERE. I reserved a room and after some delayed trained I called reception to let them know I would be arriving after check in time. They said they would put a key in the lockbox for me. Upon arrival there was no key in the lockbox. I called multiple times with no answer, I emailed with no response. I arrived at 11pm and was stranded with no accommodation, forcing me to book a last minute reservation nearby. When I tried to receive a refund through Hotels.com the property manager refused to give me a refund. They took my money, never gave me a key to my room and left me stranded overnight. DO NOT STAY HERE

On arrival I was stuck outside for about 10 minutes as the only way to enter is reception buzzing you in. When I was checking in I was informed that at any point during my stay, if I was leaving the hotel I would have to hand my key back in and then get it back when I returned. The room had obviously not been cleaned at all, there was bedding and towels on the flower and rubbish left out. The bathroom door also had a chunk of wood near enough missing. There were no other rooms available for my stay and I ended up going elsewhere as I was travelling by myself and did not feel comfortable.
