I had an overnight stay while I was in the area for business. The hotel is very nice. My room was a good size for one, and had everything I needed.
The furniture is a little dated and shabby compared to the public areas of the hotel, but nothing to complain about.
The pool is a good size. The gym is quite small and I imagine quite uncomfortable if too many people were using it at the same time.
I did not have breakfast, but dinner in the bar was very nice.

It was our 2nd time at the hotel . This time we brought two friends for a long weekend.
We paid extra for half board . The food is always 10/10 . Choices are excellent.
Breakfast is always excellent.
Swimming pool, jacuzzi was amazing , came out totally relaxed .
Staff are amazing, super helpful and always happy 10/10 .
We stayed In a garden room . Everything you need is there in the room . 10/10 ( I would ask for more milk for coffee though ran out ) .
We plan on going back in May for along weekend with our friends again . Well worth the stay .

Public areas are very different and very interesting. Food good. Room v v dated windows v old chair filthy and threadbare. Mattress could be quite old Room was clean. Bathroom modern and great shower.

Ample parking. Beautiful reception. Room was however very outdated and only had 1 plug socket the other side of the room where the kettle was plugged in. Room had an old furniture smell and missing carpet. Dinner was very expensive but breakfast was okay.

Very poorly explained what's in the package and when you ask a question, the employee answers you unwillingly and makes you look like an idiot.
In short: We went to the hotel because of the spa treatments and the employee, Joe, couldn't tell me what was included in the package and what wasn't, and the ADDITIONAL CHARGES.
There was a big misunderstanding as soon as we arrived to check in.
Be careful, as the staff try to do everything they can to make you pay more - whether it's for the spa treatment or the food.
The bedroom was okay, but too many dust in all amenities in the hotel.
The pool, jacuzzi and sauna was nice. The only thing genuinely good in this hotel.
Even so, I would never come back.

I booked room with patio but there were just 2 chairs outside the window and very dirty place not even think to sit there. Not enough space for parking. Also charged extra for breakfast. Area on the surrounding was not that good. Not enough food places around area specifically halal

The bedroom had a small double bed not ideal when your partner is 6ft also bed. No window in the bedroom area and the window in the seqting area didnt open.
Bottle of drain cleaner left on the side jacuzzi for over an hour befote removed near childrens pool.

The double bed was very uncomfortable and hence we had a poor night's sleep as a result.
The double lock on the door did not work which limited the security feel of the room.
Look we stayed st this hotel when we got married which was 25 years ago. The hotel now feels tired and in need of a little tender love restoration. Sadly, such a beautiful building and setting however.

Travelled with my 2 daughters for a spa break of 4 days. The spa and pool are beautiful- spacious and plenty of beds to relax on. We had half board. The breakfast was delicious especially the sausages. Dinner was also good - we all upgraded to Al a carte meals a couple of times. The duck dish was beautiful as were the mussels. I was disappointed with the halibut, the fish was very dry and overcooked- not as good as the normal fish and chips on the set menu. Reception staff were great and gave us toilet rolls as with 3 of us in a room we went through alot. We loved the hotels own filtered water in bottles. We had a wonderful time and would definitely visit again even though my daughter ended up locking herself in the bathroom for 20 minutes as the lock broke!!

Pleasant place to stay, in need of a good deep clean everywhere. I had to rinse out the bath before I could use it as it was dirty. The staff were not very polite and welcoming, made us feel a bit uncomfortable at times. Overall I had an okay time but is in great need of some TLC and better staff training.

Hotel is nicely situated and good parking facilities. We stayed in double club room, the bathrooms nicely updated, clean tidy but still a lot of the old and worn furniture etc. the bed is a genuine small double so cosy .. not much in the way of power sockets and usb for beside charging etc.
leisure facilities are fantastic in that you could set up camp on the many comfortable loungers and stay in the warm and holiday setting all day .. Tge hot tub is a good size but on first day it was well over 40deg c and almost impossible to stand or sit in .. after complaints the temperature was reduced to around 38 .. much more comfortable. We eat in the bar which is an informal atmosphere but can get a bit noisy at times .. all in all a nice stay.
