This is a very classy hotel. My room was really stylish and comfortable and with a great view. All the staff, including the cleaners, front desk staff, baggage handlers and waiters were very helpful. I had a lovely meal at the restaurant sitting outside alongside the Thames. Highly recommended.

Love the unique style of the hotel. Great view over the Thames and St Paul's. Decent but not great restaurant: staff enquire about allergies but food prep not quite aligned, don't think SC is really on top of this. Will definitely visit again!

Excellent location and very pleasant hotel. We stayed in adjoining rooms with our kids and it worked great. Everything was clean. My only two complaints are minor: 1. As with many places, there was a mini-bar with a fridge that was packed with stuff for purchase. However, we wanted to use the fridge to store our own food (some cheese and juice, etc). We managed, but it was tight. I would suggest giving guests and option to request that the fridge not be filled with stuff for purchase and rather be more functional. 2. The beds were fairly comfortable. In our kids room, the mattresses sagged near the edges. In our room, when the sheets were made, several times the duvet cover was not properly tucked in and rather left crumpled under the covers. This required me to remake the bed and properly tuck things in (I don't like have crumpled covers near my feet).

We loved staying at the SeaContainerLondon. It’s a terrific location, especially if you love theatre…close walking distance to the National, the Globe, the Old and Young Vic…so accessible. Close to the Tate Modern. The restaurant is also very good…try the brick chicken! I just wished that the restaurant offered a couple of specials each day and changed up the breakfast buffet menu. We were there 10 days and would have loved to see something different occasionally. The hotel is right on the Thames, gorgeous views, lovely patios and balconies, a gym, a small cinema (screenings on weekends only), a spa, a rooftop terrace. Easy access to taxis/ubers…whichever you need. Close to Waterloo/BlackFriar train station. The rooms have crystal glasses (no paper cups thank goodness), filtered water stations on each floor for carafe fill ups (also terrific). Espresso machines in room (I became obsessed) Also a Waitrose supermarket right around the corner. (Watch the coolers though, if you fill them up too much your food will freeze) The bathrooms are spacious but in desperate need of more hooks/towel racks. The bedding is equally lovely…and housekeeping came daily no matter what time of day which we also appreciated. We did have some confusion with staff about what our discounts were re: some food perks we had and a couple of the front desk staff seemed new. But everyone overall was quite gracious.

Great, great room upgrade - thank you, loved the view! Emails prior to arrival from hotel as expected from previous stays never received (eg. % off drinks and / or food in bars and restaurant - fyi, we ALWAYS purchased the vouchers). When I queried why no emails were sent at front desk during check-in, two different members of staff tried to explain that it was to do with data protection laws (no, made no sense then or now) and I never got a coherent, logical answer despite several attempts at re-phrasing the question. Still one of my top 5 hotels in central London :-)

I love the convenience of the location and its spot on the banks of the Thames. The reception staff are friendly and helpful. The staff working at the various restaurants and bars were some of the nicest and most fun people I met! The only issue was the contactless check-in I tried through the guest portal. It didn't seem to work properly and I had to check-in at the front desk in the end which was inconvenient. The other issue was room service. While the service itself was great, I got overcharged by over £20 when I settled up at checkout, which I couldn't deal with as I had to rush out to catch a flight. So the start and end of my stay was disappointing but the stay itself was great.
