Inexpensive hotel in a great location and five minutes walk to the centre of York, having the added advantage of onsite car parking.
Have stayed here twice now and will definitely be staying again.
Far exceeded our expectations for what first appears to be a budget hotel.

The staff were lovely, Daniel looked after us very well. Breakfast was incredible. I had to ask for a smaller one.
We were just near enough to walk into the main part.

Yes… conveniently placed for all amenities including train station..Not much noise in the rooms. Very friendly staff and owners.. didn’t have car but apparently they are parking facilities nearby.

Fantastic room, clean, comfortable, spacious and quiet. Great location, just a short stroll to the city wall and city centre. Owner was very friendly, letting us use the carpark after we checked out. Will definitely visit again

Check in was very smooth a lovely young lady very helpful and welcoming friendly atmosphere.My Room was clean and warm comfortable bed and nice shower.Evening staff also very nice and welcoming to . Lovely character pub good parking very short walk to the shambles.I also had a very nice cooked breakfast in morning,I will stay again definitely.😊A lovely stay.

Pros: very friendly staff, comfortable room and bedding, very good for the couple of nights I spent there.
Cons: walls are very thin. First night no issue, second night was unlucky enough to have a neighbour flush their toilet at 5am, which sounded like the whole building was coming down, and other neighbours making a ruckus at 6am. Also had some silverfish in the bathroom, but those are tough to avoid in the uk.
