Spacious room, gorgeous lobby, relaxing pool and sauna area, mountain views - what more could you ask for! Coffee & pastries on the balcony was a highlight of our trip (there was a fabulous bakery just a few minutes walk away). The staff were friendly and helpful. I want to highlight their meticulous laundry service! It was fast, reasonably priced and they followed the washing instructions. The only feedback I could offer is I wished the pool hours were longer.

The hotel was warm and welcoming the staff were so kind and helpful nothing was to much trouble…. A big shout out to the lovely lady on reception who checked us in on Sunday 26th July you go above and beyond you are a credit to the hotel they are very lucky to have you. We will be back..

Just south east of the main strip, Les Algions stands out as a relaxing retreat from the trails. Equipt with a gorgeous pool, spa and saunas it rounds out a perfect Chamonix trip. With most if not all romms having balconies, this could be the perfect relaxing hotel. As an added bonus, it is across the street from the bus stop, now for most cities that is not a bonus but let's remeber this is France not Newark. Easy to catch the Felxibus back to Geneva

Breakfast was extremely overpriced. Pool hours are only 10 am to 8 pm which was quite limiting. Got a voucher for ice cream at check in which we couldn’t avail until 8 pm, at which time we were out to dinner and unable to redeem afterward. In a noisy area, higher floor rooms are probably better.

This is a very conveniently located 4-star hotel near the bus lines and the main pedestrian walkway in Chamonix. I like the lobby and the breakfast very much. The jaccuzi is not heated and the sauna is not as hot as most people who use saunas would generally like. Prices are a bit high. Overall, good hotel, but not a 5 rating in my book.

There was nothing wrong with the hotel per se. What I really didn’t like was the shameless upselling and “hostage economics” of saying “if you book breakfast now it’s 23 euro (which is quite expensive anyway” but if you book tomorrow it’s 30” I felt that I was being absolutely rinsed for every service this hotel offered. Hence the overall rating of 3 stars

Aucune climatisation, la chaleur dans la chambre insupportable, tu ouvres la fenêtre et le bruit est constant, car le chemin principal de Chamonix est à 20 mètres des petits balcons. Je donne un 3/5 pour la petitesse de la chambre, aucun espace pour les valises. Pour le prix payé jamais pu pour nous. L’hôtel est très proche du téléphérique de l’Aiguille du midi.

After requesting a quite room at time of booking we originally were located in no such room - friendly reception staff accommodated us but at our expense as they only had quite superior rooms. Which we paid the extra for. However do not be fooled by the name superior it was simply large. The furnishings were not what you would expect for a 4star - equally the toiletries were basic. That said the rooms was clean and the bed linen acceptable.

We stayed in a clean and spacious junior suite. Location was close to everything whether you are skiing or just sight seeing. If you are coming in from Geneva airport on a motor coach shuttle, the drop off is right in front of the hotel! Couldn’t be better as I didn’t want to drag my luggage thru town looking for the hotel.
