This is my first time staying at Merlyn Hotel, and the first impression of the hotel was quite comfortable. It's just that the check-in wait was a bit long, in the sense that I couldn't check in a little earlier, and it was actually a bit later than the scheduled check-in time. The room was quite comfortable, but in my opinion, the bathroom floor was a bit slippery. Then I ordered for an anniversary, and the notes mentioned a celebratory decoration on the mirror, but it wasn't there. And I almost forgot, at the beginning when I wanted to check in, there was no welcome towel. I saw other guests being given small towels, perhaps the staff forgot. That's just a small note. Thank you.

This is my third stay at Merlynn Park. The hotel is quite nice and spacious, even in the lowest room category. All rooms have bathtubs, and they're clean and comfortable. However, it's a bit difficult to find food near the hotel.

Food variety was excellent. Unfortunately, the breakfast staff (especially one female staff member) seemed unfriendly towards families with young children. We were travelling with a 10-month-old baby and a 4-year-old child. Plates were cleared without a smile or any communication, and the staff’s reactions made us feel unwelcome during breakfast. We barely had time to eat and only managed to feed our children porridge. The facilities are advertised as kid-friendly, but the service experience did not feel family-friendly. If the hotel does not welcome babies or young children during breakfast hours, please make this clear to guests upon check-in or in your hotel policies. Otherwise, families with young children should be treated with the same courtesy and respect as other guests. A dedicated family seating area would also help create a more comfortable experience for both families and staff. Management may wish to provide better hospitality training for staff serving families with young children. Overall, the facilities are good, but the breakfast service needs improvement.

Overall, everything was great! From the room, service, facilities, and even the food, nothing was disappointing. Check-in was fast, and the staff was very friendly. After checking in, they even wished me a happy birthday, as it happened to be my birthday the day after. 🥹❤️ All my requests were fulfilled, so my stay was truly comfortable and I felt well-served. The room was comfortable, the facilities were complete, and the food was delicious. The best part was the gym, it was very well-equipped and a great place to work out during your stay. All in all, there were no negatives at all during my stay. Everything was top-notch! I'll definitely be back if I get the chance 🫶🏻

I was so happy to stay at Merlyn Hotel. When I booked, I requested a city view, and it turned out to be exactly what I requested. I even got a free room upgrade, so the room was more spacious and I could smoke inside. The amenities were also complete, some in bottles and some small amenities in individual packages. I happened to choose a room with a bathtub so I didn't have to bother moving soap around. The pool was also comfortable, there was an indoor pool, so the kids could swim without worrying about getting too hot. The breakfast was quite complete and had a lot of choices. What made the kids happy the most was the cotton candy and playground corner. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay here. From the room, view, facilities, to breakfast, everything was great, especially for those with kids. It will definitely be one of the hotels we will consider for another staycation.
