Cross Hotel Sapporo

Great location, nice onzen, awesome breakfast.

Staff were courteous and helpful. Room was spacious, luxurious and spotless. Food at breakfast and lounge access were delicious. Spa on the top floor was very good although crowded in the evening. Loved our stay!

Room was comfortable but small. Bathroom was a good size. Very conveniently located to the park where the snow festival was.

Good hotel right in the center of Sapporo. Very close to Odori Park, Sapporo Station, and the underground passageway. Would recommend for tourists exploring Sapporo and Hokkaido!

Room was spacious and clean, beautiful view of Sapporo from the 17th floor. I love Japan so much. I will be staying here again next year!

Hotel is at a great location. Staff is very nice and helpful however the breakfast lacks variety. No laundry machine onsite. No free coffee, tea and snacks throughout the day.

Location is very good. Walking to Odori Park, Susikino. Complementary lounge offers free drinks and snacks! Breakfast is best, even provide Soup Curry

Very accessible to Odori Park and Sapporo Station. Great staff and well kept hotel. Rooms are always cleaned.

Our stay had a few positives, but several issues left us genuinely frustrated. The room size was good, but the fact that the temperature can’t be individually controlled is inconvenient and frankly surprising for a hotel of this level. It’s not something that ruined the stay, but it absolutely affected our comfort. The lounge experience was the most disappointing. On our first visit, the table lamp at our seating area didn’t work, which made the space feel poorly maintained. On our second visit, we picked up a complimentary non-alcoholic drink to take back to our room. The bartender stopped us and insisted we return it due to lounge rules. Fine—rules are rules, and we respected that. What was not fine was what happened moments later. As we got into the elevator, two other guests walked in with the exact same drinks in hand—drinks they were clearly allowed to take without any issue. Whether it was because they knew the staff or simply because they were treated differently for another reason, the inconsistency was hard to overlook. Being held to a rule that others are free to ignore feels unfair and leaves a bad taste, far more so than the rule itself. Overall, while the hotel has some good qualities, the uneven service and lack of attention to detail genuinely undermined our experience. For the price point, I expected much better.
