How to Get There

By Plane

Berjaya Air formerly operated flights from Subang Airport (KL) to Tioman Island, but the flights has been suspended indefinitely since 2014.

By Bus/Ferry

Pulau Tioman can be reached by land and sea transports from Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. The major gateway to the island is Mersing, a coastal town at the west of Johor state. The common route for most visitors is to drive or take a bus ride up to Mersing, then get a ferry ride to the island.

Endau Rompin National Park

Endau-Rompin National Park is an old tropical rainforest sited in the southernmost prolongation of the Tenasserim Hills, Malaysia. It situated south of the state of Pahang and to the northeast of Johor. It the second largest national park in Peninsular Malaysia after Taman Negara. The park is one of the oldest tropical rainforest complexes in the world and features rock formations of hundred years old. Apart from that, the park contained the largest remaining population of Northern Sumatran rhinoceros species on the Malay Peninsula. During the monsoon season, from November till March, the park is closed to the public. Further, fishing is banned from September till October during mating season. Fresh seafood is among the famous food that tourists will look for when visiting Kampung Nipah.
