fascinating, service tip top especially at the receptionist counter. overall are so so good😀😀😀
great environment and also a lot of choices of breakfast and clean room
Toilet got flooded. Upon check-in hot water could not be reduced. Next morning, had to wait for 15 minutes for hot water. None. Gave up. However, their maintenance was prompt when called regarding the "flash flood". They informed it was one of the water supply pipe leaking.
Very good hotel to stay and very convenient
Very good condition and better have candle light dinner
Good location and staff very friendly
very run down, old hotel and not up to 4 star standard
To the person at the Hilton's front desk, named Zaza. Thank you so much for the excellent service from you, though it's an adhoc task. Tried to find you upon checking out, but its not your shift. We really appreciate your help. And to the person helping out on the bed decoration, that's so thoughtful of your staffs & hotel. Once again, my husband and I had a great stay on our special day.
Enjoyable, great location. Cross the road is the Waterfront.

Horrible Experience
1. Check in was supposed to be a breeze but it turned out to be a nightmare. Yes, I arrived earlier than expected but the online check in system didn't allow me to select any time before 3pm (I arrived at 2pm). It took more than 10 minutes for them to allocate me a room and when they did, they gave me a key to a room that was already occupied. Went to complain and all they asked me was "are you sure?" and "did you see anyone in the room?". As if I would lie about something like that. I told them that there was a sign "make up my room" at the door, there were clothes and bags on the bed and floor and the bed was unmade. So I asked them what do you want me to do? Catch someone in the act? 2. Was pissed and hungry so I went to the Chinese restaurant, Toh Yuen, on the ground floor after I (eventually) checked in. No one in attendance and I had to walk around to look for someone and eventually after 10 minutes, someone walks out. Ordered the soup with fish maw (which was too salty) and the noodles with prawns, emphasis on the word prawns. What came out was noodle with half a prawn and even then, it was the head part of the prawn. Meal cost me more than RM80 and frankly totally not worth it at all. 3. Room that I was eventually given was better but looking rather dull and worn out. The in-room safe wasn't working and the closet door couldn't close properly. Found a centipede in the toilet bowl the next day which I decided to flush down the toilet. 4. Gym is rather small and not well equipped. I tried to access the pool at 630am and 730am but couldn't get through the door. 5. Front office manager sends me an email the evening before I checked out at 7pm asking me for dinner but I told him that I had just eaten. He responded at 9pm. 6. When I checked out, I was asked why I had selected a plan for the internet. I told her that I was a Hilton Honours member and as a member, internet access was supposed to be free but on the day I checked in, there was no complimentary option and I was told to just ignore it. Not that the internet connection was that good anyway. 7. Bill came up to RM110.40, gave her RM110.50 and she didn't even bother to give me the change. Not that RM0.10 mattered much to me but shouldn't they even bother to ask me first?

Up-to-Date Comfort in Kuching
We stayed here for a total of 3 nights. This entirely renovated Hilton is ideally located on the Kuching riverfront and within easy walking distance of a slew of local restaurants. We received a warm welcome at the front desk from the hospitable and helpful Sabrina. Our spacious and spotless double room was on the top floor with a fabulous view of the Sarawak River and the odd-looking, golden parliament house on the opposite bank. There is a generous breakfast buffet. The delightful river walk is just steps from the back entrance. Would definitely stay here again.

Great stay
Kuching Hilton is overall is a bit tired, maybe it is time to do a bit of renovation. The staff service was excellent. The concierge service is good, they really make an effort to call me and inform me that I could check in. I am satisfied with the cleanliness.

Good location, good hotel
Good location next to the river. Plenty of eating places in the area and in the hotel. Good size room, comfortably furnished. Wi-Fi and air conditioning worked well. Modern, efficient hotel: good place to stay.

Needs updating but good location, big room and club floor.
Did check in etc on line, but as we had club room had to go to top floor to get key, room was very large and view was lovely but it was a bit dated and needs updating to bring it into the 21st century especially the bathroom, but I think you also have to take into account it was once very high end for the town, go for a club room and then you can have breakfast and drinks etc. Great location literally walk out the front door and turn left into town and go along the river. The locals are friendly and even had our photo taken with the local security guard. The pool area was nice and had bar/food service.
