How to Get to KIP Hotel

There are several ways to get to KIP Hotel. The closest airport would be the Kuala Lumpur International Airport 1 & 2. Both these airports are international airports therefore anybody may flight directly into Kuala Lumpur. Some of the airline that make their way here are Jetstar, Thai Airways and many more. From the airport it will take around 56 minutes’ drive to get to the hotel. It is around 70.8 kilometers far from the airport. One may take either the airport taxi or use the app Grab to hire a ride to the hotel.

Another way would be to take a train. From the airport, there is a premium non – stop high speed train service called Express Rail Link or ERL. One can take the train to KL Central which is the city center. Then from there, one can take the KTM that will go to Batu Caves area which is the vicinity of the hotel. So it should be easy to get to the hotel once you are there.

Another way would be to take the bus. From the airport one can take a bus to KL Central also. It takes a longer time but it will be much cheaper compared to taking the ERL. Then from there, one will need to take either the KTM to Batu Caves or take the taxi to head straight to the hotel.

Then it has the Executive Room. It has a twin queen room in a 345 square feet room. The Deluxe Twin room is 225 square feet room with twin beds suitable for travelers. The Deluxe Suite is a room with the size of 486 square feet. It is fully equipped with a separate living room. It has a king bed and also a view of the city.

Batu Caves

- Batu Caves is one of the famous landmarks available in the country. It is a limestone hill that has caves and temples. It got its name from a river that flows past the hill. The name of the river is Sungai Batu which results in the name of Batu Caves. The shrine is dedicated to Lord Murugan. Every year all Hindus would come here to celebrate Thaipusam. What interesting about this particular temple is the Lord Murugan Statue that is almost 100 meters tall. So from afar, anyone will be able to see the gold tall status. Behind it are the steps to go to the biggest temple in the whole area. It has high ceiling and has many ornate Hindu shrines. In order to get to this temple, one has to climb 272 steps. During Thaipusam many would come here to climb the stairs to head to the temple as well as to carry the decorated carriers that contains milk to be offered to the Lord Murugan. These carriers are also pierced to the body of those carrying it up the shrine. These acts are a sign of devotion to Lord Murugan. Often this is also the attraction for tourists from all over the world.
