Herbwalk is a part of Langkawi Geopark project. It is the very first herbwalk project ever in Malaysia that is officially opened for public since 29th January 2007. The opening ceremony was inaugurated by Malaysia’s fourth Prime Minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad who made Langkawi as what it is today. By visiting Herbwalk, the visitor will get to learn about plants planted here. Learn what the various medical plants could benefit the consumer, learn and try to understand the language of the plants and a lot more knowledge about plants to acquire. Above all, it can be said that it is a place that we can gain knowledge leisurely while walking and enjoying the green nature. It is opened daily from 09:00 to 11:00 and the visitors are advised to make an appointment or check with the guide before making a visit.

Hot Spring Village

Located in Mukim Ayer Hangat, there is a famous attraction centre known as Hot Spring Village. It has natural salt water hot spring with free entrance for children below 12 and RM5 for the adults. It operates daily, early from 9 in the morning to 5 in the evening . The hot spring was recently renovated to have three-tiered wells and Jacuzzis. For the Jacuzzis, there has extra fee charged per hour. Besides that, it is also upgraded to have small ponds and water fountains in the landscaped garden on the hot spring village compound. Other than dipping the feet in the hot spring wells, the visitors may also enjoy cultural performances, enjoy delicious food at the restaurant and shop for souvenir and gift at the provided stalls.
