Situated at Lot 1485, Jalan Ayer Hangat, Kampung Belangan Pecah, 07000 Langkawi, there lies the Langkawi Wildlife Park and Bird Paradise. This park is managed by the Wildlife Planet Sdn Bhd. It is opened to the public since 30th November 2002 with the name Langkawi Bird Paradise. Its official launch was on the 24th December 2002 by the Chief Minister of Kedah on that time, Y.A.B. Dato’ Seri Razak Zain. After some amendments made, the name was changed to Langkawi Wildlife Park on the 1st January 2006. With the new name, this park becomes more to wildlife exhibits. In this park, the visitors or tourists will enjoy the tropical gardens by hearing to the birds chirping happily. The tourists can also wander about in the large enclosed birds cage where it can let the big birds spread their wing widely and fly freely in the beautiful garden. Besides seeing the birds, the tourists can try to have close interaction with them by feeding them. Other than birds, there are a lot more species including mammals, reptiles, fishes and orchids. Some activities are also organised in order to make sure the tourists to enjoy their moments visiting this park.

Located at Jalan Makam Mahsuri, Kampung Mawar, 07000 Langkawi, Mahsuri’ Tomb is one of the main attraction points visited by the tourists. This is because, Mahsuri is a well-known name in this entire island and there is a sad and unbelievable history behind this name. Whether is it a myth, legend or a real story, there is a tomb where it reveals the story of a girl named Mahsuri. Mahsuri’s Tomb is opened daily to the public starting from 8am to 6pm.
