The Sungai Buloh railway station is a railway station serving the suburb of Sungai Buloh in Selangor which is located to the northwest of Kuala Lumpur. The newly built integrated station was opened on 16 December 2016 together with the opening of the first phase of the MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang Line. It is an interchange station, with one section catering to the KTM Komuter and KTM ETS services, and another section for the MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang Line. The Sungai Buloh station is a three-level elevated station which is located north of Jalan Kuala Selangor.

The MRT Sungai Buloh–Kajang line is the first of the three planned Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit lines to be constructed, with estimated contract value of MYR36 billion.The line starts from Sungai Buloh which is located to the north-west of Kuala Lumpur, runs through the city centre of Kuala Lumpur, and ends in Kajang, a fast developing town located to the south-east of Kuala Lumpur. The line serves a corridor with an estimated population of 1.2 million people and population around Kuala Lumpur. The line is operated by a subsidiary of Prasarana Malaysia Berhad, Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd, which already runs the Ampang Line, the Kelana Jaya Line and KL Monorail. How to Get There

By Car

From Kuala Lumpur city centre, it takes about 25 minutes using North-South highway to reach Sungai Buloh MRT.

By Train

There are interchange train from KL Sentral to Sungai Buloh MRT approximately every 30 minutes. You can also reach Sungai Buloh MRT from any MRT line.

The Kepong Metropolitan Park

Situated at the Northern end of Jinjang, this park is suitable for kite lovers and famous among locals for the kite flying activities that are practiced at this public facility on a daily basis. Visitors can bring own kites or buy at stalls outside the park. Many people come to show their skills in flying kites and visitors can watch colourful kites with various sizes, shapes and designs can be seen up the sky during the windy days and especially on weekends. Apart from flying kites, there are many recreational facilities include remote control car track, a cycling track, a football field, a boathouse and fishing spots. This park opens from 6.00am to 8.00pm daily.

Tasik Biru Seri Kundang

Tasik Biru Seri Kundang is a recreational lake located at Kampung Melayu Sri Kundang, Rawang, Selangor Malaysia and about 25 minutes away from Kuala Lumpur. It was previously a biggest mining area in Rawang district, and one of the biggest in Selangor as well. Tasik Biru or literally means 'The Blue Lake' is named due to its blueish colour that caused by the depth of the lake itself. It covers around 32 hectares or 80 acres consists of recreation area and a jogging track around the lake. Besides that, the recreational area is famous among locals and tourists for activities such as jet-skiing, picnicking and canoeing. This lake has been popular due to becoming filming site of famous local movie, Bara.
