Gaya Street - Gaya Street was established in 1902 as Bond street during British colonial era. The street started as a railway track for the transportation of rubber all the way from Sapong and Melalap rubber estates in Tenom which ended at the wharf. Along the market street, it is also the place where the old Jesselton Post Office and currently the main office of Sabah Tourism Corporation (STC). It is open every Sunday morning and features many stalls selling arts, craft, food, fruits, antiques and so much more. The Gaya Street Fair starts as early as 6am in the morning until 1pm in the afternoon. Aside from agricultural products, local food, souvenirs, arts and craft, footwear, antiques and even pets are sold in the market. There are also freshly ground Borneo coffee, cages filled with poultry to mini nurseries with plants and freshly baked Sarawakian cakes as well as delicious Sabah snacks.

Tunku Abdul Rahman Park - Covers over 4929 hectares, The Tunku Abdul Rahman National Park is located at Kota Kinabalu. The park was named after Tunku Abdul Rahman, Malaysia's first Prime Minister and Jesselton Point Ferry Terminal in downtown Kota Kinabalu is the ferry terminal for those heading to the islands in Tunku Abdul Rahman National Park such as Gaya, Sapi, Manukan, Mamutik and Sulug islands.
