I highly recommend this hotel. It is clean, quiet, and at a budget price that is affordable. It is an older hotel, but the staff is excellent. There is no air-conditioning or heating in individual rooms; nevertheless, the rooms are comfortable because of México City's temperate climate. One can be quite comfortable with the use of a fan which is provided. I wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Embassy.

I would stay here again. The area is quiet at night and I slept well. The mattress is quite firm but comfortable with good pillows. The temperature was fine as it was October. The wifi worked well in my room. The shower had good pressure and hot water. The area is lovely to walk around with lots of Michelin rated restaurants and close to the metro. I was able to leave my bags after I checked out while I went to the museum.

This hotel is a great value for the area but it is definitely bare bones. I personally would love to see better sustainably efforts, I practically had to argue with the staff about not needing my towels washed or my soap thrown away daily. It would save the hotel money too if they made a few small eco friendly changes.

Check in was easy. The room was clean. The bed was a bit too hard. The place has thin walls. I stayed a few nights and had to contend with noisy neighbors. I was also, disappointed that the patio in the hotels we at pictures was in available. The hotels location offsets uncomfortable experiences as it is located in Roma Nte and near a lot of cool restaurants and coffeehouses. The hotel is a short uber ride away from the center of the city. Overall, it was an affordable and nice stay.

Room had a very strong smell of cigarette, we asked to be changed to different room because my sister is asthmatic, and they refused to do so. We asked to borrow the iron board and they asked for my passport, like really??? Why would I take an iron board? Place is very far from Historic CDMX, and not the best neighborhood. If I had to stay in CDMX again, this place will Definitely be my last option

Room was not the greatest, very dusty, mold on walls in shower, carpets looked dirty. It was ok for a one night stay for a low price. Great neighborhood, easy walk to many resturants, bakeries, pharmacy etc.

The hotel gave our room to someone else. We called in the morning to let them know we would not be arriving until 11 or 12 pm. We were told there would be no problem. We would have a room. There was no mention of needing to pay for the room beforehand. Here we are after a full day of traveling with luggage in a foreign country in a foreign city without a hotel room. Horrible service.
