Nice quiet rooms. Nice bar downstairs too. Great location!

Stayed here for a local job which involved many cases of luggage, and I regret not reading the reviews properly about how small the car park is when booking. The car park was full, so at 10pm we had to unload into the foyer and my husband had to drive the car up the road to another carpark - however it is only a 6 Min walk back. They have a lift which is helpful and a member of staff offered to help us with all our bags which was appreciated. The room was spacious and comfortable and we really appreciated the bath (although it is not for tall people!) The location is excellent for everything you want in the city but the absolute gem is the breakfast. Such a great selection of hot and cold including waffles but the best bit was the most delicious haggis we have every eaten! Worth coming back for the breakfast alone!

This places was wonderful! Amazing breakfast although pricey at 20 GBP. Gym and pool were really nice. Location was great for walking to everything you could want to see. Would stay here again.

Great gym, like that I can get a lunch or dinner.

Parking was easy. Great location. We walked to everything and had a great time exploring.

Nice and central. Shame the sauna was not working during our stay.

Staff was great. Mia at the front desk helped us good a tour and a cab. Very nice! Pool and hot tub were clear and updated. Location was good. 20 minutes walk to the castle and royal mile. Had a great time.

Amenities definitely could be improved. Also cleanliness isn’t great. Breakfast was pretty good and room size was decent.

Breakfast was ok,

We stayed over with my daughters for a quick visit. Close to the Royal Mile and many attractions. So location was perfect. We loved the hotel, kids enjoyed the pool and we enjoyed the food as well. Staff were friendly. We would definitely come back here.

We were assigned a handicap room and the toilet and amenities in the room took a couple of tries before figuring them out. The telephone was difficult to use. Maybe the room should have come with additional instructions. Everything was placed low too, for hanging up clothes and amenities.

The room is so hot

We had a good stat. The property is centrally located and great restaurant on site.

The hotel was overbooked and they couldn’t give us the room we had asked for which resulted in a member of my party having to sleep in a sofa bed. When we went down with our bags to the front desk, the woman there asked me “if I had ever booked a twin room before” implying that I didn’t know what I was talking about and should be happy with my room. We left and came back to the issue fixed but it totally ruined the first night and morning of our trip. I won’t ever be booking with them again.

We arrived very late due to plane delays. We arrived to a very friendly staff member who welcomed us and the check in was a great experience. I did not realised until the next morning that the slats under the bed were broken. I spoke to a staff member and she was able to move us to another room swiftly and there were no issues thereafter. The room was large, the bed was comfortable and very clean. We will look to book the hotel again when we re visit Edinburugh.

Clean room. Staff are very polite, friendly and helpful with kindness. Little bit far from Edinburgh station.
