Reception staff were a bit dismissive. I wish that all hotels appreciated older, solo, female travellers. We have money, no mortgages and, if made to feel welcome, we will spend our money IN the hotel - meals, room service etc. My room was the furthest it could be from Reception. It was a nice room but I know it was not the best single room I could have been given. Therefore, it was not value for money. And would not bring me back. As a contrast, in both the Four Seasons in Vienna (for a similar price), I was treated extremely well and will stay there again. And, likewise, in a four star hotel in Slovenia, I was made VERY welcome - therefore had room service one night and ate in their restaurant the next night, and bought champagne in their bar.

The hotel lists “24 hour shuttle service to and from the airport available”. When I asked the front desk, they stated they have no shuttle service. I reached out to Expedia on this who also spoke to the hotel and they reiterated they don’t have a shuttle service. This hotel is falsely advertising an accommodation that they in fact do not offer at all and continue to promote and lie about this accommodation. Much better hotels in the area that do provide shuttle services and aren’t falsely promoting it.

Hotel is in a good location, but very outdated. Staff is not good at communicating, not so friendly, housekeeper doesn’t speak English which makes it difficult to understand. We were not notified of extra charges when the housekeeper brought us rollaway which we didn’t ask for. Very disappointed with this hotel.

Very close to terminal (less than 5 min walk). Breakfast was great. Downside - while they claim to have air-conditioning, they announced when I called down that they would not turn it on as the weather was cool outside. With the windows open all I heard were the transportation and people and could smell cigarettes wafting up from downstairs.

The location was very good and conveniently located near the Zürich HB (main train station) and the Bahnhofstrasse (lovely shopping district). The staff were professional, well-organized, and friendly. The room was fairly spacious and the bed and bedding were neat and comfortable, although it could use a bit of upgrading. The breakfast was excellent and had all of the elements of a good Swiss breakfast (proper cheeses, breads, etc.).
