Great location on the river! The rooms feel a little dated and the tech was seriously in need of updating!! Staff and breakfast were other highlights. Classic Peninsula service. The lobby bar was also great.

Th Peninsula Bangkok standouts in three of the most important touchpoints for travel. The first is they have a simply exceptional property. It’s beautiful, absolutely stunning in its layout with a gorgeous breakfast every morning stretching along the river. It’s well appointed and calming. The second is that the personal service is exceptional. Staff greet you by name, they remember your preferences - all the things that make a second and third visit even better. They are responsive, which is even more important. And lastly, their location is perfect. Their riverboat tender continuously runs across the river to the ferry dock and other key locations. That’s our preferred way to travel. The local ferry is about 80 cents and will take you everywhere. They are set back from the rod about is quiet and serene. It is not a brand new hotel. It is handsome and has some age showing in little places. But with that comes wisdom. It knows how to treat guests and to respond in advance - and oxymoron I now. But it’s true. It’s the kind of hotel that anticipates what you may need and as a result the service is endlessly great.

Such a great hotel with amazing customer service .. The customer service was amazing especially poy the lady that helped with directions and walking us to the tuk tuk into the city for some shopping. The manager for food and beverage Yuth was so insightful and a hands on when it came to food suggestions such exceptional service , Alex the night front manager was very helpful and kind to all our needs . I will come again and again to The Peninsular because of its exceptional service, very classic and detailed ! See you again soon . Phiona van straalen
