Great location , handy to the city and the sights that Canberra is famous for. I had a great time walking everywhere from the hotel - and up Mt Ainslie for the most terrific views of the whole city! Room was great , bed comfy but up the stairs with a suitcase was hard work, and no toaster yet a microwave and coffee machine was weird. Also not many plates but lots of cutlery..

The hotel was beautiful inside and out and our room had lots of space and well kept and the shower was nice too. The bed was good but wasn’t as comfortable as most of the beds are at previous Mercury Inns we have stayed in. We always try and stick with hotels we know that normally have softer beds as my hubby needs back and hip surgery so harder/firmer mattress are not good for him. The staff were lovely when we checked in and the meal from the restaurant was really yummy. If you are wanting to park your car in a more secured place they do offer parking at the back of the hotel with a remote open and closing gate. It however cost $28 a night but to us we didn’t mind paying so we knew our car was more secured

Room was spacious and clean, quiet at night with good blockout curtains. Food in the attached pub was poor though. Service from staff was excellent. EV charging is handy, although I had to ask reception to get the person to move who had taken up both a disabled bay and an EV bay in their 4WD, so I could charge our car

Was perfect with our two puppies. It was good to have yard but they do need a little love. Some yards had weeds knee high. The room was not up market but bed was very comfortable and we could relax with the dogs . Room was well suited for dogs good size . Was lovely to be able to take dogs to dinner in lounge area and outside in the bistro area.
