Good location and clean room

Clean room, friendly and helpful staff, great location.

I stayed here as I was exhibiting at at consumer show nearby. Realised I was paying $750 for Saturday night. What an insult when Fri night was just over $200 (what it was worth) This is purely price gouging! The common areas (hallway doors etc had paint chips and looked completely rundown. The room itself not bad, although no main light, so relying on bed side lamps etc. Bathroom run down, clearly poorly maintained/cleaned over the years and mould on the roof. Taps in shower and basin nit labelked hot/cold and the basin cold tap would swivel around past off and start running again. Jug/kettle looked grubby, wouldnt use. Cupboard around mini bar had an internal light that went all night... couldnt get it turned off. LED so bright - tried to cover with a towel as light reflecting from mirror directly into my line if sight in thd dark but without much success. No restaurant, bar or room service for this $750 Sat night, and I had to get dressed and go to reception to get a $5 can of soft drink. Staff were reasonably friendly and ordering a taxi waz very efficient. Overall, what a disappointing experience. Will think twice before booking any Mercure again. I spend 40% of my time in hotels for work and this just didnt stack up for the money.

The hotel and room were amazing! Booked last minute as had to move hotels, super quick and easy, lovely staff greeted on arrival, secure car park and overall a great experience!

I found the hotel quite modern. Bed was massive.

Overall ...every staff member was very hospiitable and exceptionally service minded. They made our experience at Mercure Parramatta a pleasant and memorable one. Stand out employees included Michael (f/d), Jenna (f&b), the lovely girl who checked us in and the housekeeping lady who went out of her way to help us! Enjoyed the pool and tennis courts :)

It was a great location to stay, very convenient location and close to everything you need. Would definitely stay again!

Very lovely staff

Very nice and quiet

The room was ok however toilet had stains . No hand towels , one face cloth , to stare between 2 persons. Breakfast was mediocre , however the staff on Sat 6/9 at breakfast was lovely.

The bed was just two single beds pushed together and kept rolling apart as me and my partner slept. The shower had terrible pressure and the lobby smelt of chlorine. Other then that it was a nice, clean hotel and would go back again

Loved the friendly and polite staff

Big and comfortable room, car parking, swimming pool. A bit distant from CBD and train station.

The fact it was close to so much was really handy, However for the cost of the rooms they weren’t very impressive and the air con was faulty, room was like an oven and wouldn’t cool down properly. Minimal utensils in the room - there was no knifes forks or plates - we got dinner delivered on the first night and did not have utensils to eat ? We were given wooden ones at reception and told restaurant wasn’t open for weekend. Room didn’t have towel rack to hang towels up ? All round a very disappointing stay for the cost and we were charged twice for parking and then when we questioned it, we were told it was on hold and will be returned to account in a few days ?
