Florum Hotel

We booked the studio with terrace and were very happy with our stay. The room was beautiful and we received a lovely flower surprise and a complimentary welcome drink. The best part was the view waking up and seeing the whole city in front of you was amazing. Because of the view, we ordered breakfast in the room, which was very good and nicely prepared.

Wir haben zum zweiten mal im Florum Hotel übernachtet und können dieses Haus nur empfehlen.

It is very bad when people come to check in, you make them wait like 20 minutes even when the desk is not full. The room was inferior and smoky.

A little out of town but not much, not many amenities but comfortable and good value.

We were extremely disappointed with our stay at this hotel. The room was nothing like the photos advertised and was in very poor condition upon arrival. It was dirty, run-down, and clearly not maintained, which made the stay uncomfortable and stressful. There was mould in our bathroom, the shower head was also broken. The walls were dirty, there were exposed wires and unsafely covered exposed outlets. To make matters worse, the staff were rude and unhelpful when we raised our concerns. Instead of offering assistance or a solution, we were made to feel dismissed, which only added to the frustration. For the price we paid, the standard was completely unacceptable and the listing is misleading. The accommodation was absolutely not worth the money. The response when asking the staff for help was abysmal. We asked how much it was to upgrade to a higher room, their response: ‘the rate is very high’ Manager was completely avoidant of the problems we shared and responded with ‘well you did book the cheapest room’ For 2 working class people, it was still more money than the room and experience was worth and quite frankly, it shouldn’t matter. We booked expecting a certain level of quality based on the images and description, but the reality was very different. I would not recommend staying here and would advise others to be cautious when booking.

Breakfast option could be a bit better

Room was initially very poor but got upgraded to a better room which was OK. Not enough staff at reception. Massive waiting times and staff overwhelmed all the time. Management needs painters and more reception staff. Breakfast is terrible too except for coffee machine.

Clean and stylish room

Food was good and the staff was great. My only issue was our bathroom. It was partially renovated, the tub looks like it’s from 1950 and it was very slippery and awkward to get in and out of.. Also, the shower curtain is offset too much and sticks to your body while showering, very annoying.

Check in at reception was chaotic. Room was outdated- barhtub and curtain was from the 70s. Moved the couch and there was toilet paper under it. Didn’t feel clean. Definitely not a 4 star hotel

My stay was really nice, with a continental breakfast, clean and spacious rooms. The room was partly renovated, but the chair needs replacing, and there was no hook to hang a jacket. The bathroom was a bit worn and not renovated like the room. The staff was very welcoming, helpful, and always smiling. One day, the cleaning was very late (after 6 PM), so we chose to decline to avoid being disturbed – that was our choice. The next day, everything was cleaned nicely with fresh bed linen and towels. The location is very central in the district, easy walking distance to the metro/train station and also within walking distance to Vienna’s central area. Please note, for me -It was more a 3-star hotel, not a 4-star.
