Did not get value for my money. Extremely overpriced for a regular, view restricted room. They were not ready for 3 in the room which we had booked and we needed extra coffee, mugs and robes.

For an older hotel I booked ocean view which was partially blocked by a giant, which was completely out of their control. I wish when booking they would advise that there are two sides, laurel wing which faces the Empress and Erickson wing which faces the incoming wharf (would have preferred this). The bed was extremely comfy! The bathroom was a bit outdated, the tub/shower combo is quite aged and small, though extremely clean and well maintained. The staff, omg the staff, absolutely wonderful, helpful, polite and happy! This is the five star treatment everyone looks for. Restaurant and bakery amenities were wonderful, again with that same service from staff. I would definitely stay here again, I would just book the other wing for the view. Thank you!!
