Greenbank isn't a modern chain hotel, it has character and soul as well as great views over the Fal estuary. It is a short walk into Falmouth which has many individual shops and eating places. The staff were always helpful and well presented and the breakfast was excellent.

From arrival to very sadly checkingout, just lovely. It was a random lucky night off with my partner in crime. Arrived in a rather damp Cornish style autumn welcome (floods). Ample parking a quick dash away and a garage! Book a space it's fantastic. This is just the beginning of a splendid experience. We had a room with a view over the river. The welcome at reception was just what was needed. Sometimes you don't know what you have been missing... This was the 3rd location of the week and if the arrival was standard to look forward to it was going to be a good stay. The room was clean and well stocked with tea and coffee. A fridge and all the essentials, plus a little extra. I have been informed that there was no full length mirror... I must have missed this essential. To be brutal the water pressure was average. One can be solved in a second I'm sure. There is a welcoming pub and restaurant to be discovered showcasing views across the river. The rest of the time we spent wondering in Falmouths town a 10min walk away. The reception kindly booked a car for the evening reservation due to the deluge that had arrived. On arrival back the bar is a welcomed addition, but we did not indulge in afters. The room had a cold bottle in the fridge, it had been opened on arrival while enjoying the window seating watching the boats navigate the channel and river life. Following came a comfortable quiet and warm night Morning arrived and a lovely coffee sat watching the river wake-up

Overall, we had a pleasant stay but they certainly need to improve the service time at breakfast. Despite asking for our preferred time to eat breakfast, we waited 15 mins for a table one morning, and then a further 10 minutes before we were asked our order.

Had an excellent Saturday night stay. Great staff at check in desk, at the bar and at breakfast. Spotless, well appointed room with comfy bed. Bathroom looked to have been recently refurbished. Best tea and coffee tray I’ve ever seen! Location is perfect walkable distance from town. The views are stunning front the bar / restaurant. I got a great deal via Expedia, just wish I’d stayed another night! Will be back without doubt.

The breakfast provided such a good range of items; I asked for some to be swapped and it was no problem. Our room was really comfortable, spotlessly clean, fabulous view. The staff without exception were kind, approachable, knowledgeable, helpful. The bar was a pleasant place to sit. It is just such a relaxing, lovely place to stay.
