The hotels location is its main asset whichh may reflect the price paid which I felt was a little high. The only complaint would be the noise from the street especially late night early morning

Friendly, welcoming check in and check out. Clean standard room. 1 still and sparking water provided and tea and coffee and biscuits. 15 minute walk from the station. Lighting not great in the room, no ceiling lights at all just lamps and sidelights. We checked in and out within 11 hours so a quick stay

Excellent breakfast, very helpful and friendly breakfast chef called Shirley, couldn’t do enough. The other members of the restaurant staff were also very friendly and helpful. Reception was very efficient and friendly both on arrival and departure.

Great location, really close to the city centre. Well equipped gym and nice bar & restaurant. Breakfast was very good. Great Indian restaurant across the road called 29 Streets. Car park directly opposite made it easy to park when we turned up at 8pm.

We ended up staying the same time as the US women's rugby team and they gave my 18 month old daughter a standing Ovation along with the team as we were leaving! It was very cute. Hotel staff was friendly and kind. We loved our stay.

Lovely location. Reception staff helpful on early arrival to York and we were allowed to store our bags. Unfortunately no fridge in room. Scuffed stained inside of bath. No hair conditioner! Had to get out the shower attempted to call reception and house keeping a few times with no answer. My son had to go down to the reception to ask for some and then it was delivered to the room by room service, this was no good not being able to get ahold of reception or house keeping via room phone let alone not having any in the room in the first place. Very disappointing. Able to also store bags before our departure home.

My stay was terrible. The stuff at the hotel was very rude and ignorant and the room wasn’t up too much round the bath. There was a lot of lime scare. It needs a lot doing to but I wasn’t impressed with the bouncers on the doors. I thought that was very intimidating.

The service was amazing but truthfully the property is old and does not align with the brand.

The property overall was ok, I booked it for the accessibility to the town. My issue was that I booked a double room with air conditioning and prepaid to make sure it was guaranteed. Upon checking in and settling in the room I noticed there was no air conditioner, when I went to reception to inquire, the concierge told me that for the type of room I had booked, meaning double, it did not come with air conditioner. I checked the booking site and the room is listed as air conditioned. I was lied to and my family and I spent a miserable night unable to sleep or rest due to the room being beyond hot. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

Nice simple hotel with nice rooms and breakfast. We suffered from noisy neighbours in our hall however and with a young family this was not ideal. The walls seem to be thin!

The room was very modern and well-appointed. We had everything we needed and the design, lighting behind bed were appealing. However, the bathroom was very small and could have used an update. The room was also quite “tight” for a family of 4. For 1-2 people it would be great. For 4, we were tripping over stuff and each other a bit. The hallways and common areas were very nice and well decorated and it was a very good location.
