Perfect last minute stay. I always stay at The Dean Court, however the Hilton had better amenities in the room from shampoo, conditioner. Coffee, tea and TV! The pillows were so comfortable!

Front desk was welcoming, helpful and room was clean. Breakfast had a lot of offerings and everything was tasty. Staff overall was incredibly kind.

Made to feel welcome but maybe more explanation re booking in and parking fee as that was extortionate however room was clean warm and spacious but poor water pressure in the shower and loose shower head, other than that very nice

Courteus, efficient and friendly staff, very clean, modern hotel, appears recently refurbished. Nice room, quite small but comfortable, good shower + bath. Cannot think of any negatives.

Hotel well located. Check in very smooth. Staff helpful. Rooms clean. We used the valet parking £30 per day at the hotel, and the option for electric vehicle charging at the hotel for us was very good. £25 part charge (which we opted for they charged it from 38% to 100%. Breakfast was nice £15pp, and the egg station lady was a ray of sunshine and very speedy! Room cleaned well. My main moan was the mattresses, very very firm!! Which some may love, but I'm more a medium sprung girl myself so not the greatest nights sleep. Also, with being Christmas season there are parties on most evenings, with music till midnight, therefore if you like a quieter room up until midnight, maybe get a higher floor room, we were on the top floor and could still hear, not really an issue for us but something to note. I would stay here again.

I made a booking for a meeting room and 5 people to stay the night. The meeting room was fine, apart from it was not disability accessible. You had to climb two sets of stairs to get to it. We should have been made aware of this when the booking took place The worst part was how they dealt with my colleagues, they wouldnt let them check in until the whole party was there, even though their names were on the booking form and email. There were issues with having our drinks in the bar on the night and putting the drinks on the roomas twe had already set up a credit card on the room their name was on the booking.

Great location, lovely bar & dining areas. Very pleasant staff & good facilities.

Spotless room great breakfast

We arrived early and although I had messaged the hotel in advance to ask for an early check in the room was not available. The receptionist siad that they would send me a text message when the room was ready but we did not receive a message. We got into the room just after 4.00 and was disappointed as there were crisps and foodstuffs on the floor from the previous occupant We were previously told that the room was not available as it was still being cleaned yet after all of our efforts the room was still presented to us dirty. Not what we would expect from the Hilton?

Great location, friendly staff, good variety for breakfast and bar food.

William was so helpful checking us in and helping us with the valet service. Our room was super clean and comfortable and the staff went the extra mile to make my partner and I’s first anniversary extra special! Location is super close to all the best parts of York. I will definitely recommend the Hilton York to everyone! Thankyou for a magical stay in my favourite city!
