Excellent location, clean room and common areas. It's within walking distance for many of York's attractions.

Lovely welcome from the girl on reception. We had a king sized room on 3rd floor looking out to Cliffords tower. Room was clean and comfortable with a coffee maker which made amazing coffee. There is a large carpark across the road which is free midnight till 8 but expensive at orher times but on par with other parking in york. There is a park and ride stop close by. Breakfast was one of the best ive ever had in a hotel. All staff helpful and friendly. Close to shops and many restaurants. Ideal location

Room comfortable with nice toiletries, staff very polite and helpful.The hotel is right in the heart of York with everything a short distance away. If you’re using the valet parking service it’s £35 per night and not £30 as stated on Expedias website. All in all a very pleasant 2 night stay.

Pretty mediocre, bathroom door didn't latch or lock at all. The noise of the cistern / radiator was very loud when trying to sleep. Also the light behind the bed didn’t work.
Bed was firm but pillows were decent. Check-in was quick and friendly. Would say it wasn’t worth what we paid at all if Im honest I expected more of a Hilton brand.

Welcoming staff, lovely room - very clean and quiet. Concierge in particular stood out in terms of customer service with excellent valet parking that was so convenien. Also being offered an unexpected mimosa at breakfast was very welcomed.
One minor issue was that the bed was so comfortable but disappointingly the pillows were too soft providing little to no support. I will know this next time and request a change - we will definitely return!
