Super easy to find and a short block from the Aldgate East tube station. The functional kitchen and laundry in suite were fantastic! Staff were warm and friendly, and key venues were easy to get to from here. Short, pleasant walk to Spitalfields Market in one direction and the Tower in another. There are little convenience stores very close by to get groceries or ready to eat meals.

I think a 4pm check in is quite late although a lovely apart /hotel with all amenities could easily stay a few nights, although it said a restaurant was on site and the signs are still up was disappointed to hear there was no longer a Japanese restaurant there, walking distance to Liverpool Street 10mins and Aldgate East is 2 min walk away would definitely recommend and would stay again.

An okay stay. The shower gels were all empty when I arrived. They don’t even provide lotion. They don’t clean the rooms every day. And the rooms have very thin walls you can hear every door shut down the hallway.

The staff are great. The room not so much. I stayed in 707. The bin in the bathroom hadn’t been emptied, neither tv’s worked, the bed was uncomfortable even with a mattress topper, electric socket loose, lots of holes just filled with mastic but not painted over and I assumed Stevie Wonder made the bed up (bed sheets not even tucked in). Overall I’d expect a lot more for £200 per night.

The room was quite large and newer. It had nice kitchen and laundry amenities and a lovely large window to let in the light. Some of the staff were very helpful with our getting around in London questions. They had difficulty providing us with keys that would work consistently and could not help us with setting the air conditioning setting. The room was clean with the exception of the sofa. The area immediately surrounding the property was new and lovely, but venturing further out the area was dirty and there seemed to be concerns about crime, as indicated in a sign erected by police at a local park.

Fabulous hotel in a great location, just a few steps from Aldgate East tube station and one stop to Liverpool Street station, which has a train direct to Stanstead airport. Staff in hotel were great, were able to let us check in early ( cost £30)

Great location..close to all bars restaurants and tram ..you are right there in centre of everything!! Quirky hotel with a nice view over canal .. size depends on which room you get so would suggest premium double .. walls and floors are thin so you can hear noise from other rooms ..overall very nice and central ..would recommend..very safe

Leman Locke is a great hotel in an interesting neighbourhood. There's a tube stations about 200m away, it's walking distance to Liverpool station and there are loads of eating options around. I would describe the property as an apartment hotel. There's a small kitchen, dining and sitting area along with a very spacious bathroom and a sleeping area. The thoughtfulness ranges from the convenience of each unit having a laundry machine to numerous spots with USB plugs around the room. The service at the front desk is friendly and efficient. The hotel also has a great coffee shop on the ground floor.
