Everything was great apart from the bath didn’t fill up when trying to run one

Paid top rate at this hotel for a visit to Harrogate for my Girlfriends birthday ! We had room 505 which is right outside the breakfast room on the 5th floor . and from 6am to 10 am dont expect any sleep !!! rather upset but great location and staff great

Great hotel in an ideal location, room is clean and team are really helpful.

The hotel is in an excellent location right in the centre of Harrogate, close to Bettys, the Ivy and the Turkish Baths. . The downstairs was nicely decorated for Christmas. Unfortunately there is very limited parking outside, and the nearest car park was quite a walk, and required a detour right around the town to get to it from the hotel. The member of staff on reception was not particularly helpful in advising us on where to park. We booked small double rooms, but they were really small and pretty basic and cheaply decorated, not really value for money for £165 a night. The beds were comfy, but the bathrooms were very small and lacked basic touches like a hook on the door for a robe, or a shelf in the shower to put shower gel on. The hot water took a very long time to reach the shower. The bedrooms were quite cold and had to be heated by an electric heater that you had to turn on and off; there was no central heating. Some staff were nice, others were quite unhelpful. We were charged an automatic service charge for a bottle of wine and glasses from the bar.

Hotel and amenities in hotel very good. Unfortunately car parking almost non existent for this hotel. To advertise in the literature parking available is somewhat of an exaggeration. Approx 30 parking slots available and even then at an addition charge of £15 per day. I would have thought that the hotel would have tried to help guess more in this area beyond a A4 paper displayed at reception. More detailed information of the alternatives would have been helpful at booking time and by the receptionist. I will not be going to this hotel again

Room good. Would be good if receptionist asked if we had plans for dinner as when we went to the restaurant it was all booked.

Mine was extremely good and healthy. My husbands eggs were hard also his black pudding . But all else lovely . Room large and spotless.All staff sooooo lovely and helpful.

Lovely receptionist checking in, beautiful room would get a bigger one if going for more than one night. Xmas decorations are amazing too.
