Beautiful building and great staff

A nice view from the room overlooking the green space. Clean room. Service was great.

The property was very clean and modern. The hotel receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Parking was a bit of a nightmare as limited spaces are available but the receptionist sorted us out. There was a slight problem with the water supply where the water system was going to be unavailable while it was being cleaned but they provided us with bottled water. We only stayed one night but overall it was a lovely experience

Standard room was very small and hot room. No water pressure for the shower. Lovely bar and restaurant area.

We had an excellent stay, managed to book the final parking space. Staff were incredibly helpful and pleasant. We will definitely stay again when in the area.

Floor above our room was very noisy shower needed more power entrance to hotel could be cleaner but still had a lovely stay

Lovely overnight stay, breakfast lovely in the sky bar with views over Harrogate. Room really spacious & perfect.

Arrived and the room was like a hothouse all windows closed and heating on full blast it took til the following morning for the room to cool down . Breakfast was lovely and the staff were fab . Bed was also tiny for a double we paid for 3 nights but left after 2

Always a great stay at the Yorkshire hotel, everything was perfect. Highly recommended.

Street at back of hotel has some nice bars and restaurants

Great hotel in the middle of Harrogate, walking distance in any direction to shops, bars & restaurants. John Street at the back of the hotel is very quaint with an assortment of independent bars, bistro's and pubs serving food. The room was spacious, clean and upt to date. Large bar (Pickled Sprout) down stairs which was also open to the public serving food was very popular. Highly recommend

Showers werepoor with very poor watervpressure.Complained to reception who just said it was the age of the building.Alsso we had to leavexearly due to a family illness asked to speak to the manager and the reception refused and gavus a card to email which just went back to reception to pass on to the manager.The manager has just ignored our email

Smart hotel in the centre of Harrogate. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was hot. Portable a/c units were provided, but they didn't make any noticeable difference. Parking is limited (and not cheap). Fortunately we were able to park on the street in front of the hotel. The cost overnight was cheaper than the hotel charges

Booked 2 small doubles as was expecting a late night & an early start - they are definately small & so hot - it wasn't a particularly warm day outside and the window was open & 2 fans on full but it was unbearable glad we were only in the room for 8 hours! Was told this was because these rooms were near the kitchen & boiler room -Kitchen staff were stood chatting outside the window so not very private either. The room was clean & the bed comfy if i stayed again would not book this type of room but the rest of the hotel looked lovely

Clean and comfortable hotel. Poor service experience in the restaurant. Waited 20 mins after being seated before I left, tried to get attention of staff, all not looking around for customers needing service. Reception staff very helpful. Would stay again, just eat elsewhere. Great location for shops and restaurants. It’s opposite Bettys which is a bonus!

Stayed here several times and love the feel of the hotel. Managed to check in early which was a bonus. Room is comfortable but on this occasion far too hot despite having the use of two fans. Made sleeping difficult. Otherwise, all good.
