Room was clean, large but shower pressure low

Lovely hotel didnt eat there so cant comment on food but restaurant looked lovely

Staff so lovely and made me feel so welcome and relaxed. Room so comfortable and spotlessly clean. Loved my stay here.

This was to be a lovely Christmas Break with some luxuries but we were disappointed with the rooms in many respects. We had booked a standard double and requested a quiet area and with a bath tub. The first room allocated to us had a dismal outlook onto inner roofing & pipework. The small electric heater didn't appear to work? It didn't have a bath as requested, but the final 'put off' was was found in the w.c. when lifting the lid it had dark brown water in the bottom looking like sewerage. By this time we had unpacked & hung our clothes. A visit to the reception was needed, and the lady at the desk understood our grievances and set about finding us an alternative room. We reluctantly accepted one with a better window view into the town and with a bath. But we transferred ourselves up 2 floors as no porter was available until next day.The room was by no means perfect, the large single glazed window was covered in condensation every morning. Bathroom was cold & stark with no window covering and only a small heated towel rail for warmth. The w/h basin tap took an age to get hot water through. Plus points:The Breakfast room and it's staff were excellent. The large bed was comfortable. Listed building or not, the windows need improving. We would not recommend or stay here again following our experience.

The room was clean. Though the service needed sign was on the door when we checked in so that put us off slightly. The bathroom was nice and newly refurbished. The room was tiny but comfy. Staff were pleasant. The best part of the stay was the breakfast and the staff there. They were super welcoming and very friendly. Very on top of everything. There was a good selection of breakfast options.

Great location. The whole team were really friendly and welcoming. The room was a great size. The breakfast choice was plentiful and came with an excellent view.

Excellent location, warm and cosy rooms. Modern decor. Excellent bar and restaurant in the hotel. Parking at the hotel is limited but we left on a free disc zone just a couple of minutes walk away. Fabulous breakfast with a beautiful view from the sky bar.

Had a lovely two days here at the yorkshire.Staff very helpful and attentive.Have extended our stay but used expedia again as the hotel doesnt price match.Had a lovely meal last night in the Pickled Sprout,highly recommended to but book in advance

Room was so old, and the floor was so uneven to the extend it felt like walking on a pebble beach, but no we were in Harrogate. I checked.

Well located hotel with friendly staff. However the bins are collected very early in the morning and after going to bed at 2.30am, we were woken up at 6.30am to the most ridiculous amount of noise. Not at all what we were expecting. We weren’t the only ones that complained. There was no drinking water in the room. I haven’t stayed in a hotel for a long time where basics like water are not provided. Room was basic but functional. Cramped bathroom with little room to move

Everything was great apart from the bath didn’t fill up when trying to run one
