Every visit to Yogyakarta always passes by this hotel, whether for sightseeing, culinary, or other activities, and it's generally packed with both groups and private vehicles. Finally, I had the opportunity to spend two nights at the Grand Rohan Jogya and had a very good and memorable experience. The hotel is spacious and clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the facilities are complete, it feels like entering an automotive museum, and there's even a mosque right in the lobby (amazing). The rooms are spacious, neat, and clean, and the walls are made of plastered brick, making them soundproof and sturdy. The price is very reasonable compared to all the amenities provided. For our family, the Grand Rohan Jogya is on our list of favorite hotels for a visit to Yogyakarta.

The service upon arrival was excellent, friendly, and prompt. Complete prayer equipment was provided in the room, and my room happened to be close to the prayer room. The lobby terrace was comfortable and smoking was allowed, especially for smokers like me. I recommend this hotel for a staycation or extended stay for those who enjoy traveling. It's close to the train station, souvenir shops, food stalls, and Malioboro Street.

What a comfortable hotel.. it's okay for resting, for meeting agendas, the hall is comfortable, it's also okay for hanging out, the prayer area is clean and fragrant... The distance to the center of Malioboro is close, it's easy to find souvenirs, and what's really interesting is the great sale bonus, books... So you can rest while increasing your knowledge... Stayed at Hotel Selamat for 3 days, the receptionist and all the staff were very friendly, the location is also not far from the station and Malioboro, very strategic behind the fort, then 11 minutes from Tempo Gelato, the food in the restaurant is all delicious, the price is also affordable, the swimming pool is also clean, the rooms are cleaned every day, complete amenities, the hot water is also not fussy, the AC is cold.. Really happy to stay here...

The hotel staff are all friendly and helpful. From the parking lot, when they saw us carrying our luggage, they immediately took us to the lobby. The receptionist was friendly and very polite, both in terms of gestures and words. I met two different people, and they were all friendly. The security guard was also friendly. The location is close to Pakuwon Mall, the hotel is on the main road. The rooms are quite spacious and clean. The pool area resembles Balinese style. The price is also affordable for high season, maybe because it is not close to Malioboro. I really enjoyed staying here for 2 nights. But we didn't choose the breakfast package so I can't comment. If the hotel had an outdoor area for jogging, cycling, etc., it would be perfect. Hopefully, there will be improvements in the future. Best of luck, Aveon.

Stayed here for 2 nights. The room was very spacious, comfortable, and clean. I received a free upgrade from the room type above the one I booked. The hotel also fulfilled my request for a high-floor room with a single bed. When I left for a day of sightseeing, I returned to the hotel in the evening to find the bed and bathroom cleaned and arranged, and the towels replaced. The hotel staff were very friendly, and the security was also friendly and attentive when the car was leaving the parking lot. There is a cafe on the rooftop of the 7th floor, offering a view of Yogyakarta from above. There is also a smoking area on the 2nd floor. Cavinton Hotel is indeed great. I was satisfied with my stay here.

If the kids like it and feel at home, for us the hotel is very impressive and that's what we felt when we first stayed here. Complete facilities such as a large swimming pool for both adults and children, there are sports facilities (gym, ping pong, etc.). The hotel that maintains a classic feel (some say old-school hotel hehe) for us is actually a plus point when new hotels that have sprung up have a minimalist concept due to limited space, but again, it comes back to each person's taste, hehe. So, for us, this is one of the best hotels in Yogyakarta.

Kotagede Heritage Homestay

Friendly and very helpful receptionist during check in and check out. Clean bedroom, cold AC. Clean bathroom, with hot water shower facilities, toothbrush and toothpaste and clean white fragrant towels. Got breakfast, three types of delicious cakes plus coffee and tea. Quiet and comfortable environment, I can sleep soundly until morning, If I go to Yogyakarta, I want to stay at KHH again, Thank you Ms. A*** and Mr. J***

The hotel staff is very friendly, the food is delicious, the location is in an alley but not narrow, enough for cars. The food in the cafe is also delicious, the hotel allows ordering food from outside, even if you need cutlery you can get it from the kitchen. Really cool.
