I booked two rooms and stayed for two nights in rooms 300 and 301/201. Upon check-in, I was greeted with a blank face by the receptionist, not a smile. I asked for rooms on the same floor, but they said they were full. The elevator access card only worked for the floor we were staying on and the lobby, so if I wanted to go to my son's room in 201, I had to go down to the lobby first, and the elevator attendant would then call the second floor. The second day, I was able to move from 201 to 301 by the friendlier morning receptionist. My room 300 wasn't cleaned, even though I had put a sign on the door asking for it to be cleaned. But the flat-faced night receptionist said it was because I hadn't reported it to the receptionist. After I got angry, the room was cleaned, and I had to wait in my son's newly moved room. Breakfast on the second day ran out of rice, and I waited almost 30 minutes. When it arrived, it was raw. I was very disappointed with this hotel. I'll think twice about coming back.

The security was friendly and helpful, but the F&B staff lacked initiative in responding to guest requests for breakfast. I booked a non-smoking room, but was given a smoking room. Hopefully, the service will improve in the future.

A pretty good choice for the Medan-Aceh VV during this disaster. To shop for necessities at the post, just turn left (city), and to go to the post, just turn right (toll). It's centrally located. However, hopefully, the breakfast quality and taste can be improved. The staff are friendly, from the receptionist to the security guard.

I booked two rooms of the same type (Executive), there are some differences between the two types. If possible, the contents could be the same (one room did not have coffee and tea), overall everything is good.

The staff, from the receptionist to the security guard, were helpful and informative. However, room comfort, especially the pillows and soundproofing, needs improvement. Breakfast was a 5/10 for taste and variety. A free airport shuttle service is available from 3:00 a.m. Overall, it's a good transit hotel, but with lower expectations.

A top choice when stopping over in Kualanamu and looking for a value-for-money hotel near KNO Airport. Facilities: Adequately accommodating for transit guests. There's an Indomaret and Warkop Agam nearby (a bit of a walk). There's a laundry service by the kilo right next door. Food: 3/10. The food selection is limited (4 menus including rice), and there's no standard egg corner available at the hotel. Staff Assistance: Staff are generally helpful and friendly. Highlights: Please pay attention to the quality of the pillows and soundproofing for a comfortable rest. Price: Very affordable, around 250,000 IDR (via OTA) - 300,000 IDR (book directly at the hotel). Location: Quite easy to reach from Kualanamu Airport, but it can be quite time-consuming if you need to travel to Medan. Overall rating 7.5/10 for the Crew Express Hotel.
