The staff is very competent and the service is satisfactory. I brought a bicycle and the bicycle was allowed to be brought into the room so I didn't feel anxious. The room is clean and quite spacious, drinking water is available even though it is small but according to the budget for staying. The bathroom is clean and has an exhaust so it can dry quickly. The water flows smoothly and has enough pressure, so taking a shower feels comfortable. Towels, soap, shampoo, and toothbrushes are available. There is a TV. AC is available and is quite good for getting rid of the heat after cycling long distances. There is a work desk and wardrobe with hangers. In the morning the air is cool because there are trees and a small garden in front of the room. I am satisfied staying here.

The staff were very friendly, communicative, and eager to help, and willing to take us on a tour of the house and museum within the homestay grounds. Staying here was really nice! The mother was nice and super friendly, so it felt like staying at home. The room was big, clean, had AC, and we got 2 king-size beds even though there were only two of us — very satisfied. We also got a welcome drink upon check-in, plus a delicious breakfast. The location is close to the beach, only 10 minutes away. Overall, the place is really nice, I will come back again if I come here!

Whiz Hotel Pemuda Semarang

For its price range, I can confidently recommend this particular hotel especially for solo travelers on a budget. I stayed in a standard single bed room and even with a breakfast, it was still far reasonably cheaper than other similar hotel rooms without a breakfast option and the breakfast was even a buffet style! The room that I stayed in may not look brand new but it was clean and comfortable. The AC was cool and working well while the hot water in the shower worked as intended. While I have not gotten a chance to fully experience the other facilities yet, I was still impressed with other offers such as laundry service and spa. From the hotel, you could easily walk to Paragon Mall too!

Brothers Inn Solo Baru

Arrived at the hotel at half past 2, thank God I was allowed to check in straight away. Got a room on the 8th floor with 2 windows, the view was really nice. The room was quite spacious, the AC was really cold. All the staff were friendly. Thank you Brothers Inn. Hopefully I can stay here again next time.
