Stayed here between May 6 and May 12. Hotel was excellent. In an excellent location close to everything - Centraal Station, Damrak, etc. The staff were all so nice. Loved the little touches - complementary croissants or cake with coffee in the morning, candy available, and when we left early in the morning they gave us a care package with juice, cookies, chocolate and chips for the plane home. Hotel does need a refresh of carpet in the rooms and hallways but didn’t bother us. Loved the stay here and will definitely stay here again when we come back to Amsterdam!

The room was probably clean, but there were stains everywhere on the carpet which gave an icky feeling. The lighting in the common areas and in the room is dim. Accessibility is a problem.There are narrow stairs in the lobby going down to the elevator with no ramp. The entrance is uninviting, directly on a dirty street. One is immediately hit with the smell of marijuana when stepping out. On the last two days of my stay, the elevator was broken. My room was on the 4th floor (what they call the 3rd) and I had to use the stairs. No compensation was offered for that major inconvenience. There is no sign on stair doors for fire escape. Would I stay there again? HAHAHAHA.

We had a great stay- the guy on reception was very welcoming and exceptionally helpful. The area is busier than we would normally like, but our night was very quiet and comfortable. It would be a great place to spend longer if you like night life.

Loved this hotel! Not sure of spelling Sky..? Was amazing! He checked us in and was helpful and so friendly. He 100% made our stay 5 stars! The evening desk person let a group of 5 people in at 1:00am Only one of them was staying at the hotel. When we walked through to go to our room. One of the people not staying there was saying sexually harassing comments. The same person we watched causing drama out on the street. Not a good decision on behalf of the staff to let them all in and then leave the front area completely unattended. Once again, if we ever return to Amsterdam, we will stay here. Price was great. A few staff were above and beyond. Location is perfect.
