The hospitality was just amazing. Came in to find a bottle of wine, then the minibar was free. They brought wine and made the beds and topped up coffee pods for Turn down service. The room was beautiful, took a deluxe room with a balcony overviewing the street with trams. The bathroom and amenities were just great. Walking distance to everything. We love it!

One of my favorite hotels in Lisbon! The room was large, spotless, and very comfortable, and it even included a standalone bidet. The hotel is in the heart of downtown Lisbon, making everything conveniently walkable. Outstanding service all around.

The location was great, but we were disappointed with the breakfast. Don’t waste your money on breakfast. There are many places around the hotel that offer better food and you won’t smell like the omelet station.

Great location, room appeared clean, however the smell was very unpleasant. It seems that the kitchen regularly shares the same ventilation system. We came back to the smell of fried fish which consumed the room and varied throughout the day/evening of whatever they were cooking. Calling down to the front reception several times resulted in no resolution. This seems like a regular occurrence at this hotel and the answer from them is to just put up with it until the kitchen closes. If you don’t mind you and your clothes smelling like the back of a kitchen fryer, then it’s a great area of Lisbon. But we won’t be returning for this price :(

Great location! Perfect for walking around Rossio square and near a lot of cafes and shopping. Our stay was nice, comfortable bed and friendly staff. It’s a little noisy being on a transit street but still worth the stay.

We were so happy to stay at Hotel Baixa. We had just come from another hotel where the neighborhood lacked character, the rooms were tiny, and—most importantly—the staff was incredibly rude. Hotel Baixa was the complete opposite. The location is fantastic, right in a vibrant part of town. The hotel itself is charming, and our deluxe double room with a city view offered plenty of space. Even though we faced the street, it’s a pedestrian-only area, so noise was never an issue. The bathroom and shower were great, and the room overall was very comfortable. The staff truly stood out. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We especially loved the breakfast host—such a lovely way to start each morning. Breakfast itself was excellent, with great coffee and a generous selection of cereals, pastries, eggs (including an omelette station), bacon, and fresh fruit. There’s also a cute bar with live music on the weekends. The only challenge we encountered was with Uber. Many drivers struggled to reach the area due to heavy traffic and restricted streets. We used an alternate pickup spot just up the street, which helped, but walking to a main road is definitely the easiest option. Overall, we would absolutely recommend Hotel Baixa and would happily stay here again.

The hotel is located in a great central location, very walkable. I felt safe since I was alone. The rooms were quiet and beds very comfortable. There were slippers, even a straightener and robes. There was water and free drinks in the fridge. There was no wine in the room as promoted. The reception staff and guest services were not at all friendly except the housekeeping staff who came for turndown service. The room was clean but the shower needs a deep cleanup.
