Colectia Stays Gran Vía

I didn't known this was a hostel, we got there and security didn't speak english. Barely explained and found out it is not a hotel. Room was very small for 3 people. The only good thing is the location.

I really felt this hotel had great value. The location is incredible, everything is close by. You enter a building and go to the 4th floor to find the hotel. You get a code that opens the hotel and your room. There is not daily housekeeping, which I actually prefer so no one enters my room. They will change out towels etc. The hotel is not staffed over night. I didn’t mind this and felt like it was my own apartment. The AC worked great. There is not a safe for belongings. I was in room 03 and it was very quiet! I had a glass enclosed balcony which helped to tone out any street noise. I enjoyed sitting out there. I slept great. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and I would stay again!

Best location! Walked to everything. Secure and comfortable building. No street noise can be heard and cute balcony to lounge in. Highly recommend!

It has a convenient location

Excelente ubicación, cerca de todas las áreas turísticas de Madrid. Ningún problema con el check in de ingreso en la madrugada, fueron amables al guardar mis maletas hasta que saliera mi vuelo de regreso.

Really helpful and friendly staff. The hotel was immaculately clean and perfectly located for both the modern and traditional areas, bars and restaurants. I'd highly recommend this hotel!👍

Property is right in city center and very walkable.

The location on Gran Vía couldn’t be better luxury shops, major attractions, and the metro are all within easy reach. The neighborhood is full of fantastic tapas bars and lively streets that capture the real spirit of Madrid. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Just a heads-up this isn’t a hotel, so you won’t have daily room service or typical amenities. That said, you’re welcome to make requests during staff hours, which are 8 AM to 5 PM

Great location tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Gran Via! Room was perfect, clean and tidy with friendly staff. Just be aware it can it’s a very dark room with no view of chosen, (fine for us as our all day). Only negative was not enough tea and coffee available in the morning for an early starts (sachets ran out quickly and weren’t stocked). Otherwise, cannot fault!

Great location, friendly staff and the room was perfect for what we needed for our stay. There was some noise from upstairs residents one evening but I guess that can’t be helped. Would definitely come back here as it was great. Air con worked well in all rooms.

Good location and within walking distance of everything. Room had a window onto a courtyard and therefore was a little dark, but given that we didn't spend much time in room it was okay. Room was clean, bed comfortable, and towels soft.

I had an amazing experience staying at this hotel on Gran Vía. From the moment I arrived, everything was excellent. Conchita, who works at the front desk, was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. She explained absolutely everything to me with so much professionalism and warmth, and she made me feel comfortable at all times. All of the staff at the front desk were very friendly and welcoming. The location is perfect, everything was clean, organized, and the overall experience was outstanding. I would definitely stay here again. Truly a 10/10 experience. Highly recommended!

Conchi la recepcionista es la mejor del mundo

First of all this property doesn’t have a reception and is located inside a locked suite. You can’t enter the suite till they give you a door code. So good luck if your coming before there 9.30 - 5.30. Our flight came in early and we got there at 8 am. The door was closed and they only had an emergency number that you can only call. After calling they didn’t give us a code to store our bags or offer early check in even if we were ready to pay and same with checkout they didn’t even budge for 10-15 mins for checkout time. We ended up getting another hotel to rest. The room was stuffy, there is not heater during the rain and cold weather outside. No water refill anywhere. The balcony was the only highlight of the room. Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again. There are better options in Madrid for a cheaper option.
