The hotel is very clean and quite spacious. They have carpet from the elevator door to the entire hallway. The soundproofing between the rooms is quite good. The staff are very enthusiastic and friendly. I broke the handle of my suitcase at the airport and as soon as I got to the hotel, a staff member helped me bring my suitcase in and fixed it.

This Ibis hotel is different from other Ibis I've spent staycation at Jakarta and Bali before. The significant difference was on the comfortable spacious room interior. Other benefits are more, like the hi-speed strong Wi-Fi connection up to the outdoor area that helped me a lot during my business trip - delicious breakfast menus with longer time limit until 10.30 AM - fantastic cruise ship night view at the restaurant outdoor area - nearby 7-Eleven and local restaurants - and above all: end-to-end great hospitality service. I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is very convenient, and the riverside setting makes the hotel feel special. Accommodation near MRT Wat Mangkon, near tourist attractions, can walk both Sampeng and Yaowarat at night in a chill way. Good accommodation close to the community. There is a 7-Eleven downstairs. Check in on the 3rd floor. The staff is cute. It's like getting a room upgrade. The room has Netflix and complete kitchenware at a very good price. I like it very much. The elevator and the building may look old because the building is renovated. But overall, it's very good. If I go, I will book again.

I enjoyed my stay at the Shanghai Mansion. The staff was super friendly and available for any questions. I finally extended for more time there. If I need to stay in town again, I will choose the Shanghai Mansion with no hesitation (although as a Thai, I can stay with relatives elsewhere, but it was a real pleasure at the Shanghai).
